Mini FAQ

How is the Hogwarts collection? What is the likelihood that there is going to be another double dip with extended cuts in the next two or three years? I love Harry Potter, but have been waiting a while until an edition came out (like Bond 50) that seemed to be THE version to pick up without fear of a newer and better release in the near future. Is this the final version....probably not...it's probably not for Bond either. But I know of no current plans to revisit the cuts of the later films. I bit on it, but I was saving up my points this year to basically get a big set for "free" around this time.

Amazon groups all the reviews together. The cheaper one is lackluster. The Hogwarts Collection has an extensive set of special features. Trying to decide which one to go with myself.

I'm at work all this weekend so had to use my phone and the Amazon app also. Since for whatever reason the full site kept crashing on me. Anyway, I got The Dark Knight Rises, 300 Rise of an Empire and Divergent. The last were claimed before the deal even showed up for me but, I was able to get them both after joining the waitlist. 300 only took about 8 minutes before I was notified. Divergent did become available for about 20 minutes.

Which means that either Amazon is a multi-billion dollar online pioneer who is suddenly so incompetent that can't debug a program they've been running for the the last 15 years.

I'm on the fence for this one more than any other disc this BF season.

I have no use for the 3D Blu-ray, so I'd only be buying it for the extended cut. If this was $10, no brainer, but for some reason that extra $5 is giving me pause.
