It looks great to me. Thought the 3D was some of the best I've seen at home. My wife was also quite taken with the 3D.

Posted this in the HD Forum, but for those who got this UK set - people on the blu-ray.com forum have said there are some defective discs in the UK set. So far they look to be the Mummy and Creature from the Black Lagoon discs. Based on the pics posted, the defects look to be in the pressing itself. I checked mine and don't see these problems, so it doesn't look to be widespread. But if you picked this up, it may be good to check your discs for this.

I see the coffin set is back in stock now, and at 42.75 (pounds, before VAT reduction). That doesn't sound familiar to me. What did the price used to be? 42.00 even? 45.00? I can't seem to remember...

Thanks. So it actually dropped slightly... I had canceled my order while waiting for my new "transaction-fee free" credit card, so now am ready to order. I wasn't going to get the coffin before, but suddenly I am drawn to it. For the extra ten bucks or so, I just might do it...

With smaller less expensive items they will generally say keep the extra, or donate it to a library due to shipping costs back to them. In this case they are likely to have you ship it back which is extra hassle. I would sit tight for a week or two more.

Ordered the regular set on 10/11 and it was waiting for me at my door after work today. All the discs look fine. I've never had anything arrive from the UK this quickly before, so happily shocked.

My estimated delivery was Oct 8th. They asked me to wait until the 16th to see if it arrived. It did not arrive today, so I have sent them an email.
I am afraid at this point, I won't have it before Halloween!!!

U.S. Customs occasionally picks out one or two cargo holders to delay and inspect more closely. It wouldn't surprise me if your set is being held by Customs and will soon be released. I'd give it another week before panic sets in.

I last reported that they stuffed mine into a box that was too small for it and it came smashed. The replacement shipped without a tracking number (maybe that means it's not DHL?), and the estimated delivery was last Friday. Still nothing. I guess it's too early to freak out, though.

Mine came today. Ordered it on the 8th. Estimated to come on the 16th, arrived exactly a week later. I think that's what others here were seeing.
The Blu Ray box is a little crushed, not too bad, but with a little crease in the top now. The Frankenstein disc was a little loose in the digipack, but otherwise, everything is okay. What a nice set. The booklet is impressive and glossy. And I actually like the way the discs are stacked in this digipack -- seems very efficient and pretty safe and secure. The packaging box isn't very pretty though; maybe I should have sprung for the coffin.

Has anyone had stuff come from amazon uk much later than the estimate, but still come? I'm now 9 days past the delivery estimate and still nothing. Because everyone here was reporting exactly 7 days, I was hoping that would be my day, but still nothing. This is a replacement order for the first one that came smashed, so I don't want to have to contact them again unless I really have to.
