Picked almost everything on my list from the sale sans Elysium (2013), which I'll probably order since both stores I went to showed it being in-stock but not on the shelves.

Indiana Jones 4K set currently sold out online at Best Buy. Says check local store. Amazon has stopped price matching as of this writing. Earlier sale sold out items became available again at sale price with a later ship date.

3 orders with 20 items picked up today from Monday morning orders -- 1 actually delivered yesterday. 2 boxes and 1 thick bubble envelope

100% correct, only one cracked case
About 2/3 with slipcovers and I think 2 of the 6 that didn't have them started that way. Every item had a digital code.
Only one item looked like a bit iffy shrink wrap, but the discs and codes were fine so probably nothing esp since it was the cheapest item (Sonic 4K)

Also one of my Target B2G1 orders arrived with some Warner Archives discs so gathering the nuts for the long winter holed up in the cave

By any chance, hariseldon, was one of them 'V for Vendetta' ? If yes, did it have a slip ? None of the stores around me have it with slips

My V did not have a slipcover. I have read of others on Bluray who did find them in store so seems to be a YMMV or maybe regional thing.

No Slips (missed one earlier so 7 without, 13 with) -- also just checked the original listings and all did originally have slipcovers.

Stopped by another Best Buy B&M in my area, about 15-minutes north.

In comparison to the B&M down the street from where I live, this particular store had all the shippers out. It was great!

Looking at this thread, I think part why I'm not finding anything this BF is because at my age (64) I don't intend to upgrade to 4k. I'm pretty happy with 1080p on my Oppo 95 -> my Vizio 2k 55" set. If the Vizio ever dies I might, but having gone through much of the same huge collection on VHS, DVD, blu, & "upgrades" of more then 1 purchase of a given movie within the previous formats (usually dvd) I think/hope I'm done with Video upgrades.

MooMooMoo, I am 65 and am with you on this. However, I can no longer tolerate seeing a DVD blown up on my 120" front projection screen anymore. So still upgrading from DVD to Bluray. No plans to upgrade my system to 4k for years, tho.. Bluray - when properly encoded with a good transfer - is fine for me now. Since my favorite decades are 1920's to 1940's, I doubt most of my films would ever get a 4k release anyhow.

Well, I'm 64 and I upgraded to 4k last year. Can't remember last DVD I bought.

Strange experience at a Best Buy near me two evenings ago - was casually browsing and found lone copies of the following WITH SLIPS (these haven't had slips since a long time - correct me if I am wrong)

1. Requiem for a Dream 4K
2. Total Recall 4K
3. Its a Wonderful Life 4K
4. A Quiet Place 4K (found this on top of a Sony 4K player that I was browsing)

My copy of It's A Wonderful Life has a slip but I can't remember when I got it. Might've been close to release.

I bought two movies this week. First thing I did was toss the slipcovers in the trash. Once I dumped a box load of them I had saved, it makes it much easier to just toss them now.

Received an e-mail ffrom Best Buy (sent at 3:15 AM) with a subject line: "Click for a chance at $5,000 in rewards certificates"

The e-mail contained a RC -- mine was $5, as expected. Good for a week.

I got the same. I have my doubts that anyone actually received more than that...let alone $5000!

The timing was good for me because I was going to be in the Indianapolis area today. The $5 certificate likely would have gone to waste since I didn't want to make a special trip to my closest store which is 25 minutes away.

Haven't been to the BB in Greenwood for quite some time (at least a year, maybe 2). The media section was much smaller than it used to be, as I expected. I picked up John Wick 2 on BD for $1.99.

The "$5" email is good online this time. Usually you had to take it to a store to find out what you got.

I didn't get one of those emails this year - but our local BB was heavily damaged by a tornado early this year. They've not rebuilt and shut down the store with a vague (we'll be coming back at some point). Because of that I've not purchased anything from them since last Christmas as there's no local presence to make small order pickups from and any returns easier. I figure my not ordering anything at all is why I didn't get one.

I didn't get it this year. I've ALWAYS gotten the lowest offered amount. Since they took most film & music out of the storey & stopped free installation on 55" & over TV's, BB is pretty much worthless to me.
