B&N website has this for the same price, but also has a 15% coupon code (J7W9L3A is the one I used), so got it for $53.54, and will get 10% off that with Discover Shop link. (I am a B&N member, so not sure off top of my head if you get any free shipping options if you aren't a member)

I'll be away for the next week, so no lists from me. As always, there are some useful links in the first post of this thread that can help find low prices at Amazon.

Yes, actually: I'm going to visit Carlsbad Caverns with some friends. Haven't been there in thirty years so I'm looking forward to it!

Deal ended up getting 100% claimed, though I don't know how long it took.

Don't worry about it, bro. We'll pick up the slack. You just beat us to the punch all the time...but we do contribute the strands that were left out and those that appear afterwards. It'll be an interesting week.

Nice. I had to do an install in Carlsbad, NM years ago, but was so busy I never had time to go to the caverns. I kinda regret it.
Have a good time. We'll try to survive without you, but it will be difficult! I probably won't buy anything at Amazon until you're back...

It's a great series with a ton of extras but personally I didn't (and won't) pick up the Blu-Ray due to it's cropping from 1:33 to 1:78. If this doesn't matter to you, then grab it for that price. There's a wealth of information within.

Thanks. I went ahead and picked it up before the lightening deal ended.

Iron Man (Ultimate Edition) = $15.99

Does it often get around this price?

Currently $20 at Wal-mart and $24.99 at BB, so I'd bite at $15.99. Lowest I've seen it.

That's what I said too but I think I'll probably get it anyway. I've read a number of reviews and have yet to read one by a trusted reviewer who was too upset about the changes. Because the actual war footage was shot on film the change to widescreen doesn't affect it much. Apparently, the only noticeable differences are in the interviews were the change results in some cropping of heads. And, the reason for the change was to allow this to be broadcast in HD with the money they made from that contract funding the production of this set. If they didn't crop it we probably wouldn't have this set on BD.

It doesn't have the slip cover if I remember correctly. :*(
