Amazon has matched Best Buy's $12.99 price for Kick-Ass.

Glad I didn't take the trip to get it today. Paired Kick-Ass with Sleepy Hollow and The Fountain (fourth bleedin' time I've bought it) for $34.47 out the door.

Just an FYI on the Saw films: BestBuy.com has the first five of them for $7.99 each. You can either pick them up in store, or wait and hope that Amazon will match those prices.

I ordered it for in-store pickup from Best Buy, just in case there was no Amazon price match. Now that Amazon has price matched, I've ordered from them and will just leave the Best Buy order to self cancel in 8 days or if I'm in the store this week, I will tell them to cancel the order. I think this is a safer play than simply hoping that Amazon will price match. As we have learned over the past two years, "Hope is not a method"

Many thanks for everyone letting us know that Amazon has price matched. My initial instincts are always to get it while you can, and the Amazon price matches have taught me to practice a little patience as well.

I'd prefer the standard BD packaging to a book. But, even though SoM is a longtime favorite and I recently sold my DVDs, $19.99 is too much. I figure it will be $10 in six months or a year.

When do Amazon and Best Buy offer extended return policies (until January 25th)? That might make a difference in deciding where I buy something when the difference in cost is tax.

in past years, the holiday return policy start with purchases beginning november 1st. i assume it's the same this year? so you'd be set purchasing it today.
