I'm probably going to pick this up. Maybe I didn't give it a fair shot the first time I watched it.

I still pray every morning that Flightplan will drop to $9.99 and I figured it was a Disney thing that kept the price up in the $20's. I love Jodie Foster, but this was an average film so I won't budge until it's a real deal.

Does that mean $12.99 is as high as it'll go once Amazon jacks the sale price back up, or does Amazon fiddle with the list price just as much as the sale price?
I agree with Starman...it's a fun movie...but I'm glad I rented it first as I don't think I'd watch it again...and I love animated films (I have to...I have a 2.5 year old).

I'd wait to see if it goes a bit lower.

The question for me when upgrading from DVD to BD is always: ditch your DVD copy to where? If you find somewhere that'll give you more than $1-$2 for it (the typical FYE price), please let me know. I have a lot of DVDs I'd be thrilled to get a few bucks for... both used and unopened. In the meantime, I assume that I'll get $0 for all my old DVDs and am stuck with them forever (like my laserdiscs I never had time to sell before they became worth $0). If I knew I could get even $3 that would allow me to raise my DVD to BD upgrade price point.

My replaced DVDs always end up on Half.com. Sometimes you get a couple bucks. Other times, not so much.

Yeah. I've dumped a few lots on ebay in flat rate boxes, but I don't see the point. I'm pretty much keeping any discs that are worth a damn and using Viva Elite double cases on the BDs to make BD+DVD sets. Keep the DVD cover art in a pile, and toss the case in the boxes of spares I have. I'm actually getting close to having all my remaining DVD in those nice Warner/Paramount cases by shuffling things around and merging sets. My current debate is whether or not to combine movies in a series across the 2 formats. I put all 3 Ocean's movies in a 3-disc BD case despite 12 being SD. I'll probably wind up doing it for others as well. I need to score some of the 4-6 disc Viva Elite blu cases if I'm really going to consolidate though.

I do the same. If I can't get a dollar or so I donate the DVD to my library.

I had emailed them about what happen to the movie. Why they changed the date. They gave me the GC for it being back ordered. It was more then a day late BTW more like two weeks.

Once I hit 1,700 disc I put them in cases. I do not even waste my time in trying to sell them. Most of the time it will cost more. I have a good system (as with most) so I really do not upgrade much. But when I do I put the DVD and Blu-ray in the same case. I also do not let ANYONE! use my Blu-rays so I can let them use a DVD. So far they have all came back.

Great fun movies with extremely well-filmed action, excellent PQ & booming audio. I highly recommend them.

Ill Also add a "highly recommended" for this. This is a steal at this price! 2 excellent action movies for barely the price of one!

That's what I really remember as well...it stood out really well.

Is it me or is 2 a much more enjoyable film than 1? I think 1 is probably the better film but....2 has a lot more cooler stuff for me to enjoy.

Is that a mistake? Seems cheap.
