Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
We shouldn't be upset at a store or an employee for enforcing a printed date. They're just doing their job, even if the policies and coupon procedures are nebulous.
Just because a coupon scans doesn't mean we have a right to use it. I just try, and if it doesn't work, no problem.

I PM'ed GI Joe Blu-Ray with Wal-Mart ad. I told the lady politely "I know this coupon says it expired, but I heard it still works". She said she would see if it scanned (which it did)...$14.96 out the door!

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
I got reeeeeal lucky on "Funny People" today. $19.99 - $5.00 Target Coupon - $5.00 Coupon For Buying "Inglourious Basterds" (which I got for Christmas) - $3.00 RedPlum Coupon = $6.99 + tax out the door.
Also picked up "Four Christmases" for $12.00 + tax. There aren't any coupons for this, are there?

Ditto.
It's funny how the $3 newspaper coupon which was definitely for the right item and wasn't expired managed to not scan properly. Meanwhile, the expired Target $5 coupon scanned without issue.

Thanks for the link!
I got PE for $9. Took a bit though as the girl called the manager and said he wouldnt take the $5 cause its expired, I said I was told it would still work and he said they didnt get a memo it was extended. Than the $3 printout wouldnt take so he told the girl to just try the $5 one since it was for more off and it worked. I went right to CS and had them take off the $3 as I said I forgot to use it. That guy than called the same manager, but luckily I was with my sis and told her to handle it since its the same dude, I was going to the BR. For somereason the SAME manger who turned me down, gave it to my sister.
We than tried to price match I am legend at another but a PM and a coupon, they wouldnt even scan it. I knew the stupid girl would be trouble. She was giving shit to some old woman trying to return a toy before us.

Same here at my two Targets. I thought I was being smart by pre-buying Funny People. But when I price matched, they only gave me $5 back. I told them it should be $10 back since I only paid 24.99. I tried to explain to them that it was 29.99 but shows 24.99 because I used a coupon. I said I could walk in the store today and pay 14.99 because it is 19.99 minus the coupon. They tried to tell me I couldn't do that because I'd be using the coupon TWICE! What kind of logic is that? I figured it would be easier to re-buy it than argue with them longer than I already had. But they were sold out. I decided I'll just get it tomorrow at another location without the hassle. Hopefully the $5 coupon will still work then, and hopefully I can find it in stock.

Just a note: if you're having trouble finding "Funny People" or other Blu-rays, check back by the DVD and Blu-ray players. Every Target I've ever been to has had an assortment of Blu-rays on the shelf back there, away from the rest of the Blu-rays, and "Funny People" was back there as well as in the main section.

Can't believe the one I can't find is "Four Christmases". Almost every Target in Houston is OOS - only a few have "Limited Availability"(like "fat chance") - and only 2 in N/NW Houston area have it "Available" (outside my normal area of driving).

Re: Target $5 off BD printable coupon
I had already bought Inglourious Basterds when it first came out, but didn't use the $5 coupon that's on the cover to save $5 when you buy it and Public Enemies or Funny People. I went to Target and bought another IB and PE and FP. Used 2 $5 coupons from IG and 2 Target $5 coupons and 2 $3 coupons. Saved $26. Took IG back for $30 refund. So that's PE for $4.00 and FP for $6.00.
