Maybe I'm lucky, but I used this coupon around 40 times, and didn't get that even once. Btw, Merry Christmas everyone!

Well, I really didn't think I'd be at a Target today. But events led me back into 2 of them. I ended up grabbing I, Robot for $6.99 using the two coupons and The Gauntlet for $4.99. In the end, I used the coupon 16 times. 8 were new movies for me, 8 were upgrades from DVD.

I'm gonna miss this coupon...

I got that the very first time I tried to use it ... almost put me off of using the coupon. I tried again the next day at the same store, same Blu-ray, different cashier ... success.

I ended up using it close to 30 times. Until this past week, it was 1 at a time (so lots of Target visits) ... this week I had moved up to 2 at a time, and going back into the store (to a different cashier) to get everything I wanted.

I didn't hear the fat lady sing! I'm still gonna try it tomorrow to see if their system rejects it... I doubt it will work, but you never know...

I think everyone should hold off on trying it until tuesday. That way, if it still works, they won't catch on to the mistake until we've used it on the new releases.

I never got around to using one of the coupons.

Ah well...

I printed out 3 of the coupons, but whenever I saw a possibility to use one, I wasn't too happy with the reviewed video quality of the titles in question, so I just never use the coupon either (mainly for the $9.99 titles). Plus I've been trying not to impulse buy BDs/DVDs these days, so doing the research helped in that department to quell the impulse.

I originally started down that path, but then I figured I could probably sell the $5 titles and make most of my money back if better versions are ever released.
