Alright, so they finally were open and after holding for about 90 seconds and talking to a rep for 90 seconds, they are sending out a replacement. I had to go through this for the Superman box set a few years ago as well as the Harry Potter Blu-ray set and I'm glad they make this so painless. Of course, I wish they wouldn't screw it up in the first place, but what can you do.

Was $10 over the Black Friday weekend. So from that point of view, it's not a good deal. Also, the version with the bat pod (or whatever it's called) was $20 for some time in December.

FWIW, The Dark Knight BD was $9.99 at Amazon on Black Friday. But it is hard to say when or if it will get down to that price again.


Is it just me, or have Amazon's Blu-ray deals pretty much dried up in recent weeks?

Not only Amazon, to me it feels like the deals are over for now and the prices are up. Look at this weeks BR's. "The Hurt Locker" and "Halloween II" are not to be found under $24.xx.

Agree. I usually go on and check the number of total blu rays under 10 dollars before I even look at the titles themselves....during and right after X-mas it was almost 300 titles...while the number overall has gone up by 10 or 15 once or twice, overall every time I have gone back there have been 30-40 less titles. Last night I checked and the under 10$ total was only about 170 titles. Things are definitely drying up.

I think the Omen price is pretty much it's normal price now (it's only a 16.99 pub at), as opposed to these other ones which keep floating up and down from higher pricepoints. Since Black Friday the ones with low pub ats like Romancing the Stone, Omen, etc, haven't really moved down at all from 9.49/10.49. On the flip side, they aren't going up that I can see either so waiting probably can't hurt.
