I hope they make up for the mediocre writing last season.
Maybe they can keep Rory off crack and not have Luke and Lorelai breakup every other week or not be able to talk about all the things you just know that Luke and Lorelai should be able to talk about to avoid conflict considering how well the two know one another. I'm hoping for a little bit more of the old Sookie and maybe some more of Paris to add some levity. A surprise visit from Madeline and Louise would be nice too. Eh, this is my favorite show, I'm just happy to have it back!

We had a huge Gilmore Girls marathon this summer and went through all 5 seasons... I'm really looking forward to finally seeing a new one tonight! Seems like forever...

After I watch the final 2 episodes from S5 (recorded them last week), I am finally caught up (thanks to the ABC-FAM reruns and WB rerunning all of S5 over the summer) and can watch the new episodes.

I hope they will continue to expand these characters for another wonderful year, like last season, when the show featured its best writing to date.

My wife has been in her glee all day waiting for this.
I got all of the episodes last year and we went through all of them. I didn't realize how much my wife would love it. It is now her favorite show. Here's hoping Rory dumps "Tristan" and goes back to being a level headed kid again, although I doubt that is going to happen. |

Kind of a lackluster episode. Everyone seemed slightly off. I am glad to see Lorelai (maybe) finally sticking to her guns, though.

Kind of a meh episode.
My favorite part was when Lorelei was talking to her dad on the phone and she said "Tell him thank you for the doll". ![]() Just her blase attitude cracked me up. I also liked her confronting them in bed and telling the scorpion story. |

As a watcher from day 1, there seemed to be ampler cleavage on display than ever. Just an observation. I'm going to refrain from using the drool smilie because this is a family show.

ok episode.
The opening scene was great Liked the Paris scenes and the scene with Michelle and Emily at Lorelai's house.

I was hoping that things would come full circle and that Paris would play a huge part in "saving" Rory. Maybe this will still be the case, although after she took Lorelai's cell phone number and left, I'm thinking they'll waste her as purely comic relief always coming to Lorelai for help at awkward times. I will say that the teasers for future episodes look better, if still a bit too melodramtic about this sudden change in Rory's life that makes no sense...not even to Tristan. Luke has to be wearing a hairpiece, right? If so, I say bad choice. More than ever before, Alexis/Rory is really starting to look like a woman. She will always look incredibly young for her age, but I was just watching season 1 a few days ago and I can't believe how much she's grown up.

I don't know if anybody else had problems with the A/V on this episode.
The picture looked like a bad DVD, and the sound was a hair (not the new ones on Luke's head) out of sync for me. Otherwise, great episode. Again, glad to see the characters grow and reflect real human beings. Growth has helped this show from being a one-note spazzfest. |

The judge overuling the plea bargain happened in Reunion too. Pretty lame tool to use and lamer to see it used twice.

You mean the sudden sprout of hair that apparently happened overnight is not legit?
Seriously though, he has been losing his hair for a while now. Maybe he is just growing it longer to take away from the bald spot. I was kinda disappointed with the episode, but it takes a little while to get the ball rolling again. Loved seeing Paris and Michel again. No Sookie & Jackson, which is always a good thing in my opinion. Very little of Taylor & Miss Patty & Babette & Logan, also a good thing. I don't mind Kirk too much, so his screen time was okay. According to spoilers: Spoiler:

The best sight gag was Babette running towards Luke and she was holding down her boobs for fear of causing herself some black eyes.

Lorelai storming into the Gilmore's bedroom in the middle of the night w/ the rest of Rory's crap was the best scene.
Paris and Michel were good. The townsfolk were annoying - as always. I noticed Luke's suddenly thicker hair immediately. I noticed that Alexis Bledel was filling out last season - she finally had some curves - maybe she was just showing off that freshman forty. ![]()

Luke with the hairplugs looks just like Lindsey the evil lawyer from Angel.
Each week, I become less and less interested in what is happening with Rory. The writers know that the audience hates the blonde kid and all his friends right? |

I don't hate Logan - although his friends can be a little overbearing at times. Anything is better than Jess (and last season's Dean).
