I didn't see much at the Canton Road (Georgia) store this afternoon. Only new titles I saw that weren't there when I was there about 10 days ago were Spiderman 3, Get Carter and I think a copy or 2 of Street Kings.

Other than that, nothing new that was mentioned above. I was really hoping for some TV seasons, but I don't think I saw any seasons of anything there.

I found Wildfire Season 1 there not too long ago. They had 2 copies. They also had 1 copy each of two other shows. ( I don't like them so I don't remember what they were.)

To get anything good in tv seasons I've had to check the stores in Vicksburg and Ridgeland MS. Also check the Bossier City and Shreveport stores. That's where I found them the most. Just this past weekend (01/07) I saw Ghost Whisperer, several My Three Sons, Nash Bridges, Family Ties season 1 and lots I can't remember at the store in Bossier City next to the Kmart.

Never heard of "Wildfire", been looking for the Lucy, Three Sons, Bilko sets, but not driving nearly 100 miles to get them. After the fuel cost, wear and tear on the vehicle, might as well just order them from Amazon. :-)

At the stores that I've been to, it doesn't look like people are too excited about the 10 dollar price point. The earlier sets weren't moving that much. I wonder why they can't go to 8 dollars as that would be decent with a twenty percent off.

I also stopped by the Inglewood, CA store on Manchester & Crenshaw. They had a few of the TV series from around BF, but none of the newer ones. They had Jeff Foxworthy S1 for $3, which seemed a good price for a TV series, but really nothing notable except that they had a bunch of WB 3-packs (and one 4-pack) that I've seen nowhere else. Maybe I missed them? All of these were $9.00:

Went by the local Big Lots today in search of an Angry Birds wall calendar and a desk calendar....found the desk calendar but the search for an AB wall calendar continues.....should have bought it when I first saw it.

In any event the dvd sections were full but very messy/clutered. Lots of old titles that aren't moving, many duplicates, and alot of what I'd consider "junk" that isn't going to sell.

I did my part to clean out the Dirty Sanchez dvds by buying a copy. I want the Johnny Quest dvd but didn't see it.

Found a copy of I Bury The Living at our store for $1.88. I've always liked the movie and this is a better quality print than those low budget dollar dvds i've seen in the past.

I stopped off at the 2238 N Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA store for the first time. I was surprised to see that they still had one copy left (on the DVD tower) of Huff, Kidnapped and Ned & Stacey. Also saw at least 10 titles that I've never seen at a BL before. Some, such as Jeremy, Stay Hungry, Swimming Upstream and No Such Thing were there in large-ish quantities.

I forgot to mention I have seen some Gomer Pyle too, I think 4th season(don't think it was S3) and the final season.
Was in Newnan, and they still had some of the earlier $10 shows, Daves World S1, Hotel, S1, Even one Odd Couple S2 for $6. A few of the "newer" $10 sets, but can't recall what! Well, remember a rattling Nash Bridges...

Ok, sorta OT. Didn't know where else to put this, and I did see it at a BL a month ago, and just hadn't transferred off phone....what Movie is this??? Did it have a slip cover originally??? No title info on spine, or back of DVD!

While driving on a trip yesterday I stopped in at the Big Logs in Fredericksburg, VA - they seemed to have a lot of the TV Show sets...nothing I was particularly interested in, but they had a lot of them. I didn't have time to look through everything - I saw Family Ties, Lucy Show, Jericho and a lot of other more modern shows. Did not see any Gunsmoke or WWW, but maybe I just didn't look hard enough. --Peter
