Yeah this is fine. And pretty fun. But man the cutscenes grind everything to a halt. I dread every new interaction.

Finally popped this in last night. Was gonna play for an hour and then I stopped four hours later.
Loving the different mechanics.

Enjoy! This game was a super fun ride. I couldn't put it down.

For all the Zelda games on Switch (the newest crop that is), do they tie at all to one another? Is there a particular order you should play them in? Thanks.

BotW before TotK, as I told you before. But otherwise nope. They're all kind of independent. And this one is entirely its own thing.

Finally sat down to finish this tonight. I'd sat it aside about a month ago despite being literally outside the final boss' door.
I really enjoyed this one playing as Zelda for the most part. I get they wanted to give Zelda different abilities but the sword, bomb, arrows being limited was pretty weak. So you're finally Zelda but you don't get to be a badass with your own sword or items? You get "puzzle magic" to fight with all the while spending 20+ hours building up the sword, bomb and arrows to make them actually useful. Then the final "dungeon" rolls around and the game takes them away from you to give them to NPC Link so he can be the hero against the final boss? wtf is that nonsense?
Then there's that ending which is... a choice? It's just barely above an old school NES ending with a static screen and a "Thank you for playing" message. Let's just say this one is all about the journey and not the destination.
Hopefully Zelda gets another shot at headlining her own game. Since Zelda games are self contained and each one is their own thing, hopefully we'll get a game where the title character gets to be badass she should be.
