I have almost everything on my list after the Best Buy sale. Dredge and Midnight Suns were two of my most wanted titles. I'll wait on God of War and Final Fantasy until next year. I'm going to stay up late Saturday night hoping to grab Hogwarts at Target.

Only things I'm looking for now are some kind of discount on PlayStation Plus Essential and some discounted Steam gift cards. I might pick up a 10% off PlayStation store gift card at Target.

No crazy deals this year. Lots of games are a bit overpriced this year at $40. I'd post a list of every store, but prices are about the same everything except for maybe a $5 difference.

Tempted by that Hogwarts Legacy but due to circumstances the only consoles out in the living room where my kids play are last gen and the switch, so got it for switch instead.

Target has a slight discount on gift cards which includes Nintendo Online memberships, though the nintendo online + family pack codes are ONLY good for first time subscribers, not for renewing a sub.

Thinking about the PS5 bundle with Spider-Man 2. If I get it at Target and use my RedCard I’ll get an additional $25 off and my wife and I have some gift cards we can possibly use towards it.

FYI

The switch game prices at Target are for physical and digital. I bought Donkey Kong and Kirby both digital codes $30 each.

The Switch version of Hogwarts isn’t unplayable apparently, but it’s a massive downgrade even compared to last generation consoles. Like, there are loading screens that last 40+ seconds on the Switch version in areas where there are zero loading screens in every other version.

I’d suggest watching the Digital Foundry video for a run down, but that version should be skipped.
