I think I know the part you're talking about, and you're not wrong.

I was hoping this would be on PS4 as well but it appears too complex to go backward. Haven't gotten around to a PS5 and I'm not in any rush, though this does intrigue me. Maybe thus game will come in a console bundle by Black Friday.

I have to say the combat in this game really does look and feel badass.

Still enjoying the game but numerous crashes and bugs are making it not fun.

I’ve been caught in the side of a mountain after falling and trying to jump back up before I died. I had to close the game and restart.

I’ve had BD-1 sit there and do the pee pee dance telling me to scan which I couldn’t because the prompt wouldn’t show up. I had to walk suuuuuuper slow and get in the precise spot. Took me 15 minutes.

And most recently I’ve had the fast travel bug where I get a black screen and no sound or anything. I waited 2 minutes and nothing.

I have had the game completely freeze on me three times. Sucks because it was always in between meditation points, so I lose all my progress.

This game has a lot of wall jumping holy shit.

Fuck the devs for that certain boss fight involving a famous character. I had to turn the difficulty level down to basic after failing 20+ times.

If it is the one who I think it is, did you think it should be easy?

I'm surprised they took as much damage as they did.

I play on the default difficulty. I wasn't expecting an Elden Rings experience..

The portal stuff was cool but it went on way too long and I died many times. But if you want pure sadistic torture, try the Force Tears. Oh no, they’re not all just kill a bunch of enemies. Noooo.

Two words. Fractured. Determination.

I have my own two words. Fuck. Off.

Whoever decided this should be a level should be killed. Then revived. Then killed again. Then kicked a few times. It’s all platform dashes and wall runs. Then some portals at the end for good measure.

You have to be perfect. If you aren’t you start over. My hands hurt so bad from multiple failures I just gave up.

I haven’t wanted to throw my controller in years. Thanks Jedi Survivor.

Even more appropriate here, but I agree with you, fuck that level.

Everything else you said just shows what a terrible person you are.

Definitely doesn't look like I'll hit my goal of finishing this before Zelda. Was under the weather over the weekend and only put in about an hour. I went to the shattered moon and got the dual handed stance and back to the planet with the bar. Still barely scratched the surface.

I wish it was more fighting and less platforming. I'm already sick of wall running.

Yeah, I can't stand platforming, but I did manage to make my through the entire story and currently at about 67% complete.

Also started a new story + game, but will most likely go back to get the 1st playthrough close to 100%.

You joked about how game designers should suffer and die, which isn't a great look either. It sounds like we all have a common enemy in the form of crazy difficulty spikes, so let's focus on that rather than each other.

Did the same thing! Dropped the difficulty to Story for that boss and the rest of them until the end of the game.

Finished yesterday at 36hrs. I did plenty of side activities, but still left a ton unfinished. Bounties, optional boss fights, collectibles, etc.

Hell of a game. Enjoyed almost all of it, but I also got pretty burnt out on the platforming. Some of the areas, especially on Jedha, were pretty hard for me to navigate.

These force tear agility things are why I don't bother trying for 100% anymore on games. I recognize they want to make challenging things but it is not fun to repeatedly fail at something unless I know what I am getting into (Elden Ring).

Ok so a direct quote of my post calling me a terrible person is okay. Got it. It’s not like I singled out a designer by name. It’s okay. Music is pretty awful himself

Just beat it. Maybe my memory sucks but this seemed way shorter and way less places to go. Sure the places are much bigger in this but still.

Probably due to not having to back-track every level and actually having a compass to point you in the right direction.

Excellent point. Made the game feel longer because you were constantly backtracking..

Re: Star Wars : Jedi Survivor 4/28/23 (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC)

How the fuck do you save in this game?

I rested at one of those points where you can level up, and the upper left corner of the screen even said "game saved", so I quit, and when I restarted the next day, I was at that point, but all the shit I did for the previous 45 minutes or so were undone, and I had to re-do all of that previous 45 minutes that I had already done (though it was quicker than 45 minutes the second time around), including finding collectibles, as if the game didn't save when it said it did.

So how can I be sure it actually saved my progress?

I think when you meditate, regardless of what you do (skills, rest, stances, etc) it saves.
