Started it and played just a little bit last night. It really is nice being a badass from jump street. And God, I love dismemberment.Thank you for including that EA, reminds me of the old Jedi Knight games.

That ad was hilarious. 120 gig update downloaded, it's applying. The applying is taking longer than the download

Well, I won't be playing this It won't run, keeps crashing. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor 2.8 Mhz, 32 gig ram, Windows 11, and AMD Radion RX 6800XT 32 gig memory, 16 dedicated. I have the latest update.

Huge downside of PC gaming!

Those specs are plenty to play the game, even with the issues the PC version is having. When does it crash? Any error message?

But at least the memory was cheap, right?

Why I will never game on a PC. I'd rather be able to insert a disc and play the game. $500 for an XSX or PS5 is a total bargain.

Bring on the (deserved) PC gaming hate!

It gives the logo and the title and then crashes when it's about to switch to the game and says the Unreal Engine crashed.

Haven't gamed on a PC in decades, and hearing about all these issues is reminding me why!

Re: Star Wars : Jedi Survivor 4/28/23 (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC)

Lesson learned regarding PC gaming nowadays. Used to be able to count on technically competent (and often superior) versions of game releases but those days seem long gone.

The PS5 version runs really well even in 'quality' mode. I haven't made it to the first open area yet, but so far it's been really smooth.

A thumbnail for the video embedded above is what I saw on twitter yesterday that made me concerned about story spoilers. Has me wondering if Luke turns up at some point.

That's a great ad. Makes me wonder why they haven't done an immersive original trilogy game in the last few gens.

Just read this game has
Spoiler:
significant ties to the High Republic
. That plus the massive download for PS5 was enough for me to cancel my in store pickup. Maybe I’ll catch it in the bargain bin.

Does “quality” really degrade the FPS? I went with quality, but the 60FPS had me questioning my decision it has.

Some games have a "Fidelity Plus" setting which is kind of a compromise between frame rate and 4K.

Hypothetically, if I didn’t understand what you said, is quality better than FPS?

Put in a couple of hours on PS5. I love it, so much fun. I'm already enjoying it more than the first one.

I updated my graphics card driver and now it works! Forza Horizon 5 didn't work either and now it loads! It had to be me when all these aaa games wouldn't run. I thought I had the latest version. I'm more excited about fh5 I guess I know what I'll be doing in May!

I know it's not the first game to do it but it blew my mind when the cinematic graphics are equal to the in game graphics.

Exactly. And who wants to sit at a desk the whole time?

Re: Star Wars : Jedi Survivor 4/28/23 (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC)

Well...I've seen several stories on PC Performance issues like this one.... You'll need one of the best CPUs for Jedi Survivor if PC optimisation issues persist - VideoGamer.com

I've been wanting to build a PC for past year but combination of Hardware Choices to the outrageous GPU Prices have hel me back. But lately I've been seeing some new games out are coming out with experts in PC Gaming saying those games are going to push a lot of PC's even the mid to high tier ones. Which is another reason why I've held out now; to see just where a sweet spot might end up with the CPU & GPU Setup.....the upcoming issue ....maybe for both console and PC is the New Unreal 5 Engine that will up the ante on realism which will then put more demand for CPU & GPU Power.... the Next Game that might become the New Test for PC's is Immortals of Aveum....in meantime for PC Players with Jedi Survivor, you are not alone with issues.....
