Looks like it's all cosmetic stuff, with a lightsaber and blaster based on Luke's and Han's ones. Now if you get them earlier in the game I have no idea.

Yuck, the game install size is 147 GB in the PS5, roughly double the average AAA game size and approximately 25% of a PS5 total space (before memory expansion card added).

Oof. I'm still on the fence on what platform to get this for. I'm leaning PC atm. More free space and is what I played the first on.

Doesn’t EA have the monthly service like Gamepass that will have this day one? For $15-$30 (1-2 months) it might be better than buying it for $70 plus tax if you can finish it fast enough.

I'll be ~$60 out of pocket to play two new releases on release day, which is a hell of a deal, imo. If you're on PC, I'd highly recommend it.

I went with cdkeys for $43 month ago. But yea the first one that is what I did did the EA pro thing and played it on xbox x or series x whichever it was at the time. I've since bought the first one on pc since it was like $5 multiple times.

I did like the last one, not "a lot", but enough to play it through, but not enough to really dig into it.
I am hearing that this sequel improves on the first one in every way, so that's cool!

Yes, they do. It's called EA Play Pro for $15/mo. I subbed to it a couple months ago for Dead Space, and kept my subscription active for Jedi. And there's a pretty robust catalogue of other games available to download.

I've got this one with "Gamelock" from GameFly coming. Sucks at how massive the storage is, but since I will rent it, I'll be deleting the game from the PS5 after.

If you buy through Steam, then yes. Games on EA Play are launched through directly from their own launcher, not Steam. And I don't think Steam Deck is compatible with launchers like Origin or EA or Epic without a fair amount of tinkering.

Thanks. I meant games through EA Play. Might see what I would need to do to get them to run on Deck. $99 for a year with that catalog is a damn good deal.

It's part of the highest subscription tier on GameFly. You have to have an empty slot in your queue within a certain timeframe, usually one week before release, and you are guaranteed to receive a copy of the game by Day 1 of its release. It only works on new releases of video games only, but it's a great money saver. That's what I did with RE4. If you like the video game they sometimes give you the option of buying the game. When I had RE4 for the PS5 I was given the option of keeping it for like $40, which would have been a good deal since I basically had the game from Day 1 - it technically wasn't used since I was the first to get a copy.

I did a year of EA Play Pro for $100 to discover I hated the Dead Space Remake (couldn't figure out where to go or what to do or where to go, but at least I saved $60), so I'm in to at least try this one out.

i don't know what you are playing on, but there should be a button that highlights (like literally a mostly solid line) that tells you exactly where to go and shows you the objective. Xbox, i think, you hit the right stick down (R3).

PC. There was a point early on after getting the tram going where I couldn't follow the arrow anymore, it was out of reach, and I couldn't figure out how to get to it, add to it there were two levels, and a switchbox that made parts accessible/inaccessible, and it was just a nightmare.

Pre-loading is up on EA PC Pro! I've only had it two months, I'm going to give Dead Space another try and do it with a walkthrough and see what other games I can get out of it to make use of it next 10 months.
