You can get this on Xbox too, I believe. I think I have it. No need to dust.

I think the Xbox version got a minor graphical upgrade if I'm not mistaken.

I found this comparison:

Looks like playing it on 360 or newer hardware, it'll render in HD and at a solid 60fps.

From the studio that brought us Ape Out and Getting Over It comes Baby Steps (PS5 and PC) in 2024:

Play as Nate, an unemployed failson with nothing going for him, until one day he discovers a power he never knew he had… putting one foot in front of the other.Explore a world shrouded in mist, one step at a time. Hike the serene mountains by placing each footstep yourself, in original physics-based gameplay from the minds behind Ape Out and Getting Over It. Take in the sights, fall in love with the local fauna, and try to find meaning in a wasted life.

Get ready to fall for Nate, in Baby Steps, a literal walking simulator.

KEY FEATURES

- Fully-simulated physics based walking.

- A world that seems to come alive with a dynamic soundtrack built up out of 420 beats and vibes.

- A lengthy trek up a mountain-sized mountain that you can explore at your own pace, or slower.

- Fully dynamic onesie soilage system.

- Non-collectible hats.

1 million downloads of a demo for a game that sounded like a joke (Pinocchio-themed Bloodborne clone? ), but honestly this is one of the better games (demos) I've played in awhile. It was very smart of them to release such an extensive demo this month. This game is far less like Bloodborne than initially expected as the combat is more block&attack heavy than Bloodborne's more aggressive gameplay, and although the vibes of the game are a bit similar with some hints of lovecraftian monstrosities, the actual setting is quite different. Level design is pretty good, though nothing too crazy (so far), and the three bosses are quite different. All that plus a solid framerate that never seems to stutter, and this may be a sleeper hit.

Just a damn shame that it comes out so close to Starfield; the audience isn't necessarily the same for these games (Lies of P's player base is probably only like 0.01% of Starfield, but I imagine most people who would play Lies of P will be playing Starfield or other big games instead), but it just means this one will likely be ignored early on.

I found
video somewhere else...Gamespot Trailers...i had to do a double-take to make sure this was a NEW Game and not something from years ago....I wish I could find it, but someone already did a side-by-side comparing this to Peter Jackson's King Kong Video Game and to say it's ...no contest...is a understatement....

To be fair though this is a budget title. It retails for $39.99 instead of the standard $69.99.

Looks like a VR title (that's not complimentary).

That Kong game looks like a style decision -- and a bad decision at that. I'd say it was two generations ago graphics, but that would be an insult to two generations ago.

I keep forgetting about that one. It does look good to me, but marketing needs to give it a good push. I really dig Avatar and if I keep forgetting about it, the average gamer isn't going to think twice about it.

I would completely suck at this game, so I will be watching others play on YouTube or Twitch.
