Huh. You’re right. Thanks. Got to check that. And how do I know what version of Hitman 3 I have? There was only one on site snd has that X/S on it which means optimized.

If you only need the Hitman 2 Expansion pass, it's on sale for 75% off at $9.99

Both sales are until 3/3/21
Ugh. I literally just paid $39.99 for it at GameStop

I think I fixed it. Now showing 61.9 in internal only. Yet, still icon in 8TB external that says installing...but verified internal only. Still downloading so I guess I’ll see when done.

Re: Hitman 3 (Literally every platform) 1/20/21

is it ok to play some missions in casual mode?

i mean i have been doing every previous on professional. I thought, fine, that's the default, medium, which i play all my games on and i did them and loved them. but, takes so long, studying patterns, opening clues of how to do best, etc...

i mean i would literally spend hours studying patterns and saving before i do something and attempt, fail, load previous, repeat. but, i don't want it to be a cop out. just every mission, thus far, in H1 has been 2 targets.

now, i'm in Colorado and have my first mission with more than 2, 4 to be exact. so, i figure there's no way i can do 4 targets on professional so is it copping out doing on casual?

Re: Hitman 3 (Literally every platform) 1/20/21

You don't need to go to casual. Every mission can be completed easily on the default difficulty. Just pay attention to the Missions tabs in each level. They will lead you, like a seeing-eye dog, to methods for eliminating every target easily.
Plus any mistake you might make can be easily undone with the quick save/ quick load feature. Honestly I promise you this is one where the default difficulty is no hurdle at all.

Just do the Missions.

i know, but it says for casual you can play around a little more, have fun and try more stuff, but i am still finding it hard on casual.

In no way is this meant to be an insult, but maybe you wee expecting something else from
this game. I have a lot of friends that can’t get into the slow, methodical pace of this franchise.
If I have a half hour to burn playing a game, this isn’t gonna be it. I’ve already spent an hour on my first play through of Berlin and I don’t think I’m close to completing it.

Re: Hitman 3 (Literally every platform) 1/20/21

I would think that the difference in difficulty would only be in relation to the relative stupidity of the AI and the amount of damage Agent 47 could take after getting found out and shot. It doesn't really make the game "easier" because if you do it right, you're not even noticed let alone shot. And finishing a level by guns ablaze'n and limping wounded and bleeding to the exit isn't really the way you should be tackling the game.

no, I certainly don’t have a non target kill out of 4 completed missions, let alone I never even shot my gun once. I always choked them out then snapped neck. Just thought casual allows a little more leeway, but still as hard as professional. I think taking out all the guards one by one in CO will make it easier for the targets to be assassinsted!

no, i pretty much expected what i'm getting and don't get me wrong, i am loving it, but it is a thinking gamers game. that's what i love (certainly different than run and guns that i usually go for), but when it becomes hours to pull off one particular move or whatever then becomes ridiculous. but, i do like the methodical approach and the success, whatever the points i get are, is really thrilling and fulfilling.

I definitely notice difference in load times playing this on One and now on Series X. I mean it wasn’t bad before and would always look at the load bar. On One it was like maybe half a minute. Now it’s 10s at most. Such a joy to not have to wait so long. Really need a reason to play Control and notice loads.

I thought Berlin was long. I spent over two hours trying to figure out the China mission.
The last mission is so gratifying.
Tomorrow I’m gonna fill my face with pizza and bourbon and re-play this game all day.

Re: Hitman 3 (Literally every platform) 1/20/21

This game would be great if it didn’t lock up saves and freeze. I’m playing on Series X and every so often it’ll lock up when I try to load a save. So I have to reload an auto save, sometimes losing 10-15 mins of progress. This happened on part one and two. Part three was fine. Until Berlin where it has completely frozen (music and sounds still playing) while I’m in the bar area of the club. Usually after about 2 mins after I load. Such a fucking joke.

Turns out you had to kill the guys in a certain order. To avoid the bug. Dumb.

Probably because it’s so wide open.

I’ve finished my first playthough of 3, so now I’m going back to try to 100% each level. The progress carried over except for the mission stories from first two games. I needed a silenced sniper rifle and you get one if you get to level 15 mastery on Colorado. I was already close to that, so I figured it’d be quick.
Doing all the redacted challenges are a pain in the ass. What’s the most frustrating part is there are people everywhere and a ton of them see through whatever disguise you have. I only have a few things left to do including SOSA which is gonna suck unless I want to resort to a guide.
