Does Xbox have a Restore All Licenses option in the system settings like Playstation does? Because I've fixed a lot of problems accessing games I own by doing that on a PS3/4/5.

Edit : Doesn't look like they do. I would contact Xbox Support and tell them you can't access your Hitman 2 game content. Don't even mention Hitman 2 content in Hitman 3 as they would refer you to the developer for that. But you should be able to just play Hitman 2 content if you bought the game. Maybe if they fix whatever that issue is, then you can access it in Hitman 3.

apparently, I can only access first mission, Nightcall and last two missions, Golden Handshake and Last Resort. I was on with them for over an hour the other night and nothing happened for that hour that helped.

so if i get Hitman 2 physical disc, that will import into 3 and i'll never need disc in console again, correct?

also, if i have the disc for Absolution, can i put in and carry over to Hitman 3 or is that separate entity all together? thanks.

Update. I think OB and I figured this out. Nightcall is available as a free "demo" called a "Starter Pack". Golden Handshake and Last Resort are DLC missions from the Expansion Pass that OB bought seperately. So it appears that he grabbed the free level and paid for DLC. He never owned the other missions which is why he couldn't play them. Chances are he had access to them for a few days because the Hitman 3 game couldn't determine that his Hitman 2 save was from the free version and not the full game, until an update was done and locked him out.

Bottom line : The game isn't broken and you don't need to have Hitman 2 installed to get the content. You just need to own it digitally, or have played the full game in the past and have a game save on your Gamer account.

i get the game now. it isn't the length of time you play (whether fast or slow, pick and play or what), it is the methodical way you go and pursue a target. changing disguises, picking up intel, picking up objects, blending in, then you find the target in ideal circumstances and choke them out and then break their neck and then hide the body. i mean in Morocco, i just had to hide my "illegal" items, choke out a masseuse, disguise as said masseuse and get the target. glad i remembered where i left my stuff. it's awesome!!

no, i thought you were saying you can only get access to H2 if you own the game digitally, but physical disc ownership works as well.

You misunderstood. I was specific in my wording because you don't have to own it physically. You could have borrowed or rented a cooy in the past or sold your copy in 2018. As long as you played it on that account before, the content would unlock in Hitman 3.

So just wanted to say I had used Hitman 3 to finish Hitman 2 story. I only got around to the new Hitman 3 content this weekend.

That second mission is so fun. Getting to role-play the detective in a Knives Out type family drama is so fun and weird and different for a Hitman level.

And I so enjoy the game. It’s great that you can play and replay these scenarios in so many ways. I usually tacked the story levels first as it gives you a very straightforward way to beat the levels. But there are so many other ways to do things. It’s really cool.

It seems you need to have Hitman 2 to bridge your Hitman 1 content into 3. At least that is what it is telling me.

I struggled with this for a while last night. In the end I had to create an IOI Account then link that to my PS account of which I needed to reset the password twice since the captcha kept failing.
The transfer is only a one time thing apparently, so now I can’t get the New York or the Maldives expansion levels unless I want to pay $100.

The one-time transfer of your IOI account is to bring over your progress and earned items from the two previous games into Hilitman 3, not the content of the previous games. That isn't part of the transfer but instead based on the game saves on your gamer tag and ownership of the DLC in the case of the expansions in 1 & 2.

I thought Decker posted article saying Hitman 3, even with 1 & 2 absorbed in it would be lower GB file. Didn’t article say 60 or 70? Mine shows 122.1 GB...

I'm pretty sure it's under 100 GB for me on the PS5 with all the content. I can check when I get home tonight.

Did you download the XO version or the XSX version? Because they have definitely optimized the size of the game for PS5 and I imagine they did the same for XSX. But at least on the PS5, there is a PS4 version that you could have downloaded by mistake without the optimization.
