I way more regret buying the season pass for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 or the $100 version of Borderlands 3 when their is almost zero chance I'm going to go back to either of those games after I finished them.

Just finished the game. Really fun all the way through and doesn't out stay its welcome. My only annoyance was it does the thing where if you die in a boss battle it sends you to before the boss battle so you have to approach the boss again rewatch the unskippable cutscenes before fighting again. Now onto trying to find all the collectibles.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 3 (10/31/19: Switch)

Ok I stayed up until 2am and got all the gems and hidden Boos. For anyone looking to find the hidden Boos there is one on every floor other than the top floor. You have to return to the floor after beating the boss of that floor. While walking from room to room on the floor it will start vibrating the closer you get to the Boo. The Boo will be hidden inside a random item (trashcan, barrel, etc) and once you are close to one and it is vibrating like crazy press X on the item and they will pop out and turn invisible. Use the dark light on them until they're stunned and then vacuum them up. It will take 2 tries to get them down to zero. If you pick the wrong item that the Boo is hidden in it will pop out and move to another item on that floor.

For getting either all the gems and all the Boos you get cosmetic items:
for all the gems:
Spoiler:
you get a blinged out flashlight

for all the Boos:
Spoiler:
you get a Boo reflection coming out of your flashlight

If you noticed in the gallery back in the lab it lists all the ghost that you have caught. It has a category for "Rare Ghosts". These are not found in the main game they are found in the ScareScraper multiplayer mode.

When am I able to do something with money? I have like 10k and haven't found how to spend it yet. Not very far in; I have the lab available now but still only floors 1 and 5.

A store will eventually open in the lab. At least where I am (just started the 12th floor), you can use it to buy bones (extra lives) and gem/Boo trackers.

Is that all money is used for? If so, I'll stop searching every corner for more to suck up. Sounds like it's fairly worthless.

It's also how you're ranked at the end of the game.

We accidentally discovered a way to cheese that one a bit.

Spoiler:
We sucked Clem completely out of the water once and were able to do part of the fight on dry land. I have no idea what we did to make his raft pop , or if he did it to himself, but we were able to get one hit down that way. Afterwards, we pretty much decided "screw the water", so we'd stay up top, keep blowing his mines into the water, and wait until there was a good cluster. He'd eventually blow himself up, and then my wife would run down into the boat, vacuum up the duckie head, and blast him into the spikes. It still took several attempts to get it right, but that did ease most of the frustration. Since I was Gooigi, I couldn't do much beyond vacuuming up mice for health and whomping Clem when he was up top.

Spoiler:

We must have had at least 4 instances where he was spinning and dizzy and I couldn't vacuum up the rubber duckie because of the poor handling of my duckie. We did eventually take him down but it was not fun. Otherwise, the game has been a blast.

Yeah, it was my least favorite battle too. Hopefully the last few are bearable!

I had zero issues with any of the boss battles other then the usual dying the first time while you're figuring out what you're supposed to do.

I started playing this this week after beating the main portion of Super Mario Odyssey. I'm really liking it so far, but I'm only about 2 hours in. I just found E. Gad and got his lab set up.

I played more last night and made it halfway through the garden level before calling it quits for the night. I'm still really enjoying it. The piano boss gave me some trouble. I kept having trouble aiming the suction bomb shots correctly, but I finally beat him after using a few golden bones.

This game is pretty great. You should check out the multiplayer too. It's a pretty fun cooperative mode.
