For some reason I couldn't "add to library" with these titles and had to queue them all up for download.

Didn't we already get Days Gone?

It is one of the games in the Playstation Plus Collection that PS5 owners got.

I'm happy with Days Gone, even though I own the disc version. I just bought Zombie Army 4 Dead War (XB1) on clearance a couple of weeks ago. The new Oddworld game looks pretty neat.

Uh, It’s the PS4 PS+ game of the month. Those many, many people who don’t have a PS5, but do have a PS4 can now play it for free.

In either case, there are still two other games that they’re giving you. One is a full game that is less than a year old. The other is a highly anticipated next-gen sequel that is going to be given away on its release date. Pretty good deal either way.

Yea, seems to me to be a pretty “lame” thing to complain about. They didn’t have to give out that quite generous Plus Collection to PS5 owners. Consider those games a bonus.

Well that plus by default anything they give us looks good compared to what the competition is giving away...

Edit : I just played the opening level and after a seemingly never-ending cutscene, my God is this game gorgeous.

There's an incredible article by Jason Schreier on Bloomberg: Sony’s Obsession With Blockbusters Is Stirring Unrest Within PlayStation Empire. While it's no great mystery that Sony is only interested in home runs and couldn't care less about singles, doubles, or even triples (at least from their internal studios), there are some astonishing revelations in here.

• The universe revolves around Naughty Dog, Guerilla, and San Diego; other studios are losing their autonomy and being treated like support studios (including Bend)
• A Last of Us remake is in the works, but not by the team that originated the remake
• Days Gone 2 isn't happening

I don't see people chomping at the bit to play a remake of a game from 2013. Does it really need to be remade already? In the end, Sony will continue to deliver great first party games along with the multi-console releases. Sucks to hear about Days Gone 2 but I wouldn't say it will never happen. Too early to tell.

Maybe they’re targeting it as a tie-in with the upcoming TV show? Each would fuel interest in the other or whatever.

ugh, I find this hard to believe (maybe just wishful thinking). ND has paid their dues with enough sequels and remakes. Aside from what should be a quick PS5 upgrade for TLOU2, time to put that and UC out to pasture and let them do something new.
