I saw IGN note that the haptic controller is a huge leap forward and really makes the game experience special. Pretty excited to hear that it's so cool to use.

My copy of Demon's Souls now has guaranteed delivery for Thursday! 
But my Target PS5 still says Nov 13 - 18.
And my Spider-Man still has no date at all x2
Edit: Spidey is now coming on Thursday, too!

PS5 will now having global time tracking data for games like the WiiU and Switch. Something I've always wanted.
It also sounds like once you have your PS5 it will show times played on all your PS4 games as well which will be cool to see. I guess they have been tracking all that data on their end, just not sharing it with users.

What's most exciting is that these play times don't just start counting once you've gotten your new PS5 plugged in. Your profile also showcases the time you've spent playing on PS4, which means all those hours you sunk into Overwatch, The Witcher III, Rez Infinite, Destiny 2, or your game of choice will be represented here.

The bad news for prospective PlayStation 5 owners is that your existing download of P.T. cannot be transferred over to Sony’s new console, nor is the game playable through backward compatibility.
Here’s the strange thing, though: At one point over the past two weeks, it was both transferable and playable on PS5. I played P.T. on my PS5 in late October, the day after I received my review unit. But it appears that when the PlayStation 5 launches on Nov. 12, it won’t play P.T. through backward compatibility.

Well (PT aside), with PS4 games playable on the PS5 with marked improvements, expect a TON of used PS4s to flood the market in the next moths.

I got my extra controller yesterday. It’s really nice and much more comfortable to hold than a PS4 one. The longer arms make it much easier to hang onto and the texture makes it more grippy. The triggers have more travel. The face buttons feel more premium and click nicely. Can’t wait to use it. You guys will like this controller.

Uh-oh! I see a label from Walmart (OK, Solutions2 Go) in FedEx Delivery Manager. The only thing I've ordered from Walmart is a PS5, so...it's happening, I guess!

I was disappointed at the announcement that PSVR would only work in PS4 backward compatibility mode, but apparently that still means PS4 PSVR games can be enhanced on the PS5:

What do you know, the free PS5 games both packaged with the system and included with your PS Plus subscription are both supposed to be very fun

Walmart sent me an email that my order was "delayed" but the order status on their site still says arriving Thursday. Let's hope so, I took Friday off and the last thing I want to do is spend it talking to my family.
