Re: Fallout 76 - (PS4, XB1, PC)
Most of the Metacritic reviews are from when it came out I suspect when it was very different no NPCs, just a few robots and computers. I still played because Fallout is my favorite series. They have changed it a whole lot. Like any persistent game it gets repetitive, and nowadays I mostly do the daily activities until I finish the boards and take a break, but I’ve gotten lots of entertainment out if it. I do pretty much play as a solo game, but I do some big events (and stupid expeditions) with others.

Two of us are in on this...when we can find time to play. Heck, we still want to do The Pitt which we haven't. but everything we've seen on Atlantic city looks way too fun to ignore.....almost like it's another game completely.....seems everyone is coming out with somethingnew...Diablo 4, Warframe, Fallout 76...and I'm hooked with Remnant 2...2-3 of us playing it....and still have my eye on Avatar....

I’m finding Atlantic City much more fun than the Pitt. The quests are faster, more fun, easier to follow(the Pitt I spent WAY too much time looking for boring crap). If you have a group, even without knowing what you’re doing, finishing the main part in the optional 10 minute time is totally doable. Solo takes longer for me (and there is one part I die a bit), but still good. I am pretty happy with it.

Plus I've seen about every night a lot of...New Players...because each server I've seen like 5-6 Level 1 to say around 30 and it's usually around the starting area and town. But it's been a few times with some events just pure chaos with so many players it's halarious....other times not many. i think when they see Level Recommendation at say 40-50 they opt not to show up. but some areas/events we've been to don't look familiar and we know we haven't done them before. Still some stupid silly fun with some surprises...we did one event...Defend Tunnel of Love and not one but two Death-Claws appeared and it was just four of us....but that's 76, full of surprises....
And there's been some good add-on quality of life for your base to; like the Fusion Core Refill Machine, Ammo Converter and Storage....

For the first time since the game came out, they expanded the basic map a little into Virginia (Shenandoah). A bunch of new quests which I'm taking my time on.

I decided back about a month ago to go back and start playing this again and it's been fun. They (Bethesda) has done a really good job turning this game around and the fact the Fallout TV Series brought in a lot of new players. So far with events there really hasn't been a shortage of participants; both new and seasoned players. And they just keep pumping out New Stuff like this new area. And they've said there is still two more DLCs coming before the year is up. it seems like they're adding more than what Destiny and even Elder Scrolls Online is doing
