Forza Horizon 4 has gone gold, and to celebrate, Playground Games released a demo that will allow players to experience Britain in all four seasons. In addition, Forza Horizon 4 will be receiving a James Bond-themed car pack as day-one DLC.

Announced via Xbox, development on Forza Horizon 4 has been completed and this new demo, which is available on Xbox One and PC, will showcase the new Seasons feature that changes the map with each one and adds different challenges to complete.

As for the James Bond DLC, the Best of Bond Car Pack will be available at launch and features 10 cars from from various James Bond films. The included cars are as follows:

• 1964 Aston Martin DB5 inspired by Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), GoldenEye (1995), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015)
• 1969 Aston Martin DBS from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969)
• 1974 AMC Hornet X Hatchback from The Man With the Golden Gun (1974)
• 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
• 1981 Citroën 2CV6 from For Your Eyes Only (1981)
• 1986 Aston Martin V8 from The Living Daylights (1987)
• 1999 BMW Z8 from The World is Not Enough (1999)
• 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace (2008)
• 2010 Jaguar C-X75 from Spectre (2015)
• 2015 Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre (2015)

Several cars will even feature film-inspired gadgets while in Forza Horizion 4's Forzavista mode, and players will receive two James Bond outfits and bonus phrases that can be used for "Quick Chat" in multiplayer.

Pretty cool that you get influence and stuff while watching and streaming the game on Mixer.

The game looks gorgeous! Just got a new 75" UHD Samsung and have an Xbox One X on its way. I will be pre-ordering the UE of this soon. The James Bond cars are the icing on this fantastic cake. I am all over that 64 Aston Martin.

I am a little confused on the Game Pass thing. Do the games in GP not come with any future DLC included? Just the base game always? Why do they offer buying the games in GP at a discount if the game is there to play?

Also, do they games rotate in and out like movies and shows do on Netflix? So one day you have access to a game and then the next week it may disappear for an unknown amount of time?

To answer some of your questions, games do rotate in and out, but Xbox published games haven't left yet and probably won't. They are just the base games but the DLC will be discounted 10% I think.
You can buy the Game Pass game at a discount of up to 20% after it's been in the service for about 2 months so you can own it forever.

The extended prologue (five hours?!) with a limited featureset, before the season-a-week kicks in, etc. sounds like kind of a drag, but it sounds like the game is as extraordinary as I'd hoped after that.

I'm looking forward to it. Got the Ultimate Edition preordered. I've really liked this series, even more than the main Forza games.

I've liked the weird extra additions, too, like Hot Wheels in FH3.

It's probably a little sad that this has been my most anticipated Fall release, but FH is one of my favorite series of all time. I've put in over a hundred hours over the last three games and can't wait to start this one. I'm also pumped about the 60FPS on the X version.

Damn, this wasn’t even on my radar until I started hearing about it today. Might have to pick it up ASAP.

I'm waiting patiently for one of my Microsoft hook ups to get me the game, but it might be closer to the actual release date rather then the early Ultimate Edition play.

I decided to go the Game Pass way and I will just buy the upgrades separately than buy the UE now.

Plus, if you subscribe to Game Pass by tomorrow for the $100 price, you will get a code for both Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7 by mid-October.

I am liking Game Pass so far. Since I don't really buy or play as many games as I used to, it gives me a decent variety of stuff to play for 10 bucks a month.

Nothing sad about that at all! When it's all said and done, I have zero doubt that FH4 will be remembered as one of the most exceptional games of this gen.

My wife played it a bit last night, and it completely lives up to all of her hopes (even though we're still in the prologue; just got the VIP lake house).

To people familiar with the series, is this a straight up sim like GT, shifting gears manually, etc, or slightly more relaxed with the handling?

It’s in the middle between sim and arcade. You can shift manually if you want to, but it’s not required. Automatic is the default. You can heavily customize how much it holds your hand.

Unfortunately I am out of town tomorrow thru the entire weekend so I won't get to spend the time with it that I would like. Went ahead and grabbed the Ultimate Add-On as well. Not exactly sure what the VIP club is but it seemed like having the DLC and the James Bond cars was worth it alone. It's nice getting a discount on that kind of stuff through GP. Add in the other 5% thru Target for the Xbox cards and it at least adds to a nice little discount.
