well, i know what was fixed. nothing noticeable to my eyes or hearing, but nothing at all changed with menus. ugh.

Hey Adam...do you remember mission called “Kill Ruckus the Crusher (voiced by Andrew W.K, or so I’ve read)? Anyone it’s in exact same location as “Kill Lug the Nut”. Underground, through sewers. I completed Lug and wanted to go back since I saw this new mission, bc wasn’t there before. I’ve seen some vids online, 1 in German and their mission clearly states “Ruckus, etc.” Read a big but really nothing definitive. Some say timed, but if timed out, I wouldn't see right? Any help appreciated. This is especially frustrating.

And is there really a big deal, enabling a cheat and no longer getting trophies? I liked seeing when I got them, but not a trophy whore and just like finishing games.

I believe that's an event that was added after I finished playing.

well, whatever the patch did, it didn't better the technical aspects, that's for sure. Menus worse. more lag and doesn't move at all sometimes. plus, this new audio issue, where one particular noise from a site i was at, keeps playing over and over, even when at another location, is more than frustrating. had to save and exit a few times.

and is it me of do the cheats just make it too easy? i mean that explosive barrel from the skies takes out whole above ground shrouded or regular camps with ease. i turned off. will my trophies come back now if i used the same save game, but cheats off?

The game is on sale for $39.99 ($31.99 w GCU) at Best Buy this week -- until tomorrow, I suppose. Was cheap enough for me to buy it. I played my Gamefly copy a bit before I finally cancelled my membership (they recently dropped the discounted gift certificate option making the subscription service too expensive). I liked it okay.

BJ from Wolfenstein? really? and what's new game + and Ironman mode?

New Game + is a much-harder difficulty mode (in many games now) where you start over from the beginning, but with all the skills and upgrades you have unlocked.

Ironman is probably a perma-death mode.

And BJ voice actor did voice for this? Where’s connection?

I rented this from the library and started playing last night. I like the smooth movement and framerate, it reminds me a lot of DOOM. But other than that, the game feels very repetitive and I don't like the open world. I also go through ammo like crazy and the pistol sucks. I'll probably put a few more hours into it this weekend and then return it, but I doubt I finish it. Which is a shame because I feel like I'm in the minority that actually liked the first game.

I think this one is great and didn’t like first. Yes it’s repetitive as hell, but you do get better weapons and ammo and those meteorite stuff should be pretty generous. Are you playing on a real hard level or something? but the overall structure is more linear to tell truth, but so much to do and so far, for me, the killing doesn’t get old. And you can even go stealthy with some.
