Curious what the Nintendo Direct coming up on Thursday will bring. There’s a supposed leak of a potential firmware 5.0 floating around that looks pretty promising if it’s real. Also curious on what else Nintendo has up their sleeves as far as releases for the year or if we’ll get any big third party announcements.

Welp, Amazon Warehouse has a pretty loose definition of "Very Good". Opened my controller today (hey, the box was pristine) and got the controller out. It was FILTHY, covered in greasy spots and the right thumbstick didn't even return to neutral - it just sagged down low. What a disgrace. I called them and told them what was up. Though I kept saying that it was no big deal for me to return it, the guy told me to throw it away and he refunded my money immediately. I said okay -- at least the charging cable looks okay; I will keep that. Noticed that they were selling a "Like New" one for about the same price. I will roll the dice and give them one more try before relenting and just paying their (nearly) full price for a new one if this one doesn't live up to its condition description.

I've bought hundreds of things from Amazon warehouse deals and it's hit or miss no matter the description. I've gotten just as many brand new looking items buying stuff in the "acceptable" category as I have buying "like new".

Ordering through Amazon Warehouse is always a thrill, because you never know what you are going to end up with . I always order in the mindset of never ordering anything too big that would be too difficult or awkward for me to send back.
But yeah, their rating scale is a joke. I've even ordered stuff that said they were factory sealed that came opened and missing content.

Is that even in the specs, though? I mean they could redesign the dock or something to just include a receiver, but otherwise I don't think a firmware update will "enable" the feature. Heck, I'm surprised they even updated it to work with USB wireless headsets. I mean look at that whole "need a separate phone and an app to communicate" garbage they came up with.

So basically I'll have to buy Hyrule Warriors (for the third time), Dark Souls (for the third time), and TWEWY again. Argh, just give me a TWEWY sequel already.
It also seems like they're going to port pretty much every game that makes the WiiU worth keeping. I'm actually kind of surprised we haven't gotten a third Mario Maker for the switch yet.

Hell, I’ll take any tennis game. I don’t think there’s been anything decent since Top Spin on the original Xbox.

I never played much of Dark Souls, so a portable version would be nice I suppose.

I wouldn't fully bet on Mario Tennis just yet. Mario Tennis on Wii U was hot garbage and didn't even include a story mode.

Well that's a good start
Hopefully it's just fun to play. That was the biggest issue with the last one. Even if it had a story mode, it was just bland and not much fun to play.
