This exactly. I feel like they keep doing this with the game--beta testing everything new with the entire player-base, not taking into account the effect it will have in the community.

I feel bad for anyone who has spent money on the game to discover what they spent suddenly doesn't matter. Kind of infuriating.

Here's hoping they fix this soon.

I think it's intentional. Squeeze the players for more money. If the players revolt too much, dial it back a little and squeeze again later. It's sad. I liked the game, but I couldn't stand the squeeze.

How come when I "click here to see the full wiki", it doesn't let me see the full wiki?

Anyone here still playing that would like to join our guild? We have two spots immediately available and a 7* raid starting soon.

Join up! I regularly come in the lower half of our raid and am already a third of the way to unlocking Han Solo. More fun to play as a team!

I play a lot and finish my tasks everyday. The group I joined does level 4 raids and I usually finish in the top 5 or 6, but I only have 7 7-star toons & 6 6-star toons...everyone else is a work in progress.

Is that going to be enough for the group? I know some of the posts made it seem like they were very demanding and calling people out for not being good enough.

I'd love to join, but I also don't want to leave a solid group that I can hang with in order to get bounced if I'm not good enough.

I've taken over control. It's much more laid back. We have 2 members from here that don't even have a 7*. They contribute but can't benefit from the raids yet. They do take part in the gear exchange and the guild shop.

I'll post our "rules" in a bit just so you see what you're in for.

I have about 18 7-star toons now, but with this group you can pretty much play one team in a raid. That may not sound good, but it lets you focus on making one great team AND all we do is level 7 raids so the payout is always stellar.

As long as you finish your tasks every day, I think you'll find it a good group. The ones who aren't a good fit are those who don't do their daily tasks. But if you do them, and you follow the raid rules (Pinata has a good post on when to jump in each time) you'll be good.

Re: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (iOS & Android)

Rules are simple:

1) Contribute 3000/week. Sounds like you're already doing this and we don't really check anyway.

2) End of rules.

Guidelines:

1) On Galactic War Day (tonight and tomorrow), impose on yourself a maximum of 24 node completions. This just makes it easier on everyone to not fight for 36. Helps those that can't finish every GW so they can use Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to get their 24. It's not a "rule" and sometimes someone "forgets" but it's a courtesy we grant each other.

2) End of guidelines.

Raids:

1) I launch the raids well before the official start time which is when damage is allowed to begin. These follow a rotating schedule of 10am, Noon, and 3pm EDT. The next one starts at 10am tomorrow (but will launch tonight).

2) Whenever a raid is launched, anyone can throw a scrub at the pigs and die doing 0 damage just to get on the leaderboard. This isn't required but, in case you can't make the raid as scheduled, at least you'll get rewards. Also during this time, you can run what we call a "P1 Audition". If you do more than 15% of damage to the captain, take a screenshot, retreat from the battle, and post the screenshot in LINE. You will be added to the "P1 Rotation".

3) The P1 rotation is handled by a subset of members that have passed the audition. Currently 16 out of 48 and growing every time. These people take turns each raid soaking up damage in P1 to not only complete it efficiently but to overlap as much damage as possible. This is because, frankly, there's not enough HP in the raid to go around to make it fun for everyone so we need to gate P1 and leave more for those not in P1. These players finish their battles at the official raid start time (10am, noon, or 3pm) so, really, the raid starts when P1 finishes and opens up for everyone else...

4) At this point, everyone not already on the leaderboard is allowed to do exactly 1 battle in the raid. Since these occur in P2 and P3, everyone gets to use the door at least once to bolster their score. Once your battle is complete, take a picture of your damage summary and post it to LINE. This isn't required, but if anyone thinks you did more than 1 battle, it's your only defense mechanism.

5) Phase 4 exception: any member whose first battle was in P4 will be included on the "P4 All Clear" which typically takes place 24 hours after raid start. This allows them to run their entire roster instead of just one battle. Some members miss P2 and P3 and are "stuck with" P4 where there is no door mechanism and the Rancor is pisssssed. Other members intentionally sit out and wait for P4 for this exception because they have huge rosters. This is how we finish a raid.

5) That's a lot to digest, but it's really very simple. Do 1 battle after the announcement says to. Everything else will make sense in time.

What does Upgrade a Mod mean in the daily activities? I assigned a gizmo to one of the characters but that didn't do it.

You have to upgrade it by spending credits.

Yes, we are still at 49/50 so 1 more slot and I would much prefer someone we know, even if they think they're not worthy, than some rando Lando.

Yes--definitely push yourself to your first 7* no matter who it is. Even if you do 0 damage and get squashed like a gluten-free pancake, just being able to be in the 7* raid gives you great rewards. Just do it! :P

Good, mutually exclusive choices. How are you at GW every day? Are you getting the full 1200 for 15 Lumi shards from it in addition to farming the hard nodes?

Yes, Luminara is the best of those three to farm the hardest right now. GS is great, but the drop rates in the Cantina aren't guaranteed, whereas they are for Lumi in Galactic Wars. Between getting her there and in the hard battles, you can probably average 10-15 shards a day, which should get her up to 7* in only a few weeks. And wow will you see a difference in your GW play...

I've finished GW a few times but usually get killed off close to the end. :(

Get used to it. I have (12), 7*, Level 75 and above characters and still struggle to finish GW more than 10% of the time. Usually I run into a buzz-saw Tank who just mows down my team single-handedly.

I'm still trying to get my Genosian Soldier and Lumi to 5 stars. I think I just going to focus on one to get to my 7*.

They are mutually exclusive. Lumi is earned in GW, and GS in Cantina.

Yes, you can grab both at the same time. If credits are an issue for raising to five stars, personally, I preferred Lumi over GS when I first got them. Her #2 is almost as powerful as GS's #2 at that level, so she's great overall. That said, GS is much more of an end-game toon than Lumi, and you'll eventually prefer him. But since you'll soon have both, I'd raise Lumi up first with credits, then GS.
