So this might seem like a dumb question. Let's say I have an unactivated character @ 50/50 shards (which unlocks as a 4* character). IF I decide to wait to activate that character @ 85/50 or 100/50 shards will that character activate as a 6* or 7* character?

You still have to separately activate each tier. You'd then have X amount of shards left to use towards the next tier.

Past couple of weeks I switched gears and got IG-86 farmed ahead of Phasma to strengthen DPS on my A Team. I also concentrated on leveling up most of my characters to Lvl 67. I will continue this until 3-4 more B/C Team are also at Lvl 67. I also will then unlock my 6/7 stars for the next couple of weeks. I am definitely under a credit drought.

Any other advice you guys can give is appreciated

The shards are constant.

10 = 1*
25 = 2*
50 = 3*
80 = 4*
145 = 5*
230 = 6*
330 = 7*

Promoting is just the difference to the next tier:

1* -> 15 -> 2* -> 25 -> 3* -> 30 -> 4* -> 65 -> 5* -> 85 -> 6* -> 100 -> 7*

Right now, no one unlocks at 6* or 7*.

Yeah, I built up all of the shards I needed to get Palpatine to 7* before I even unlocked him and I had to promote and pay credits each time.

Yeah, you're going going to be able to save 1.75M by taking someone from 4* to 7* with one "Activate" action.

I am reasonably certain that is incorrect. Clicking promote would go to 5* for 250k, then you have to click again for 6* for 500k, then click again for 7* for $1M.

D is correct. You're "not going to be able" makes a helluva lot more sense than "going going to be able".

Nicely done! I have 13 shards left on Barriss and then I'll have my 5th Jedi, too! Hoping everything falls right before the reset so I can get Mr. Master Yoda!

My biggest issue going right now is that after 86, my next highest character is 5*. Also I have every one of my 7s soft capped at 70 so my GW is easier. I don't have the credits to boost those guys over 70 since some of my guys are lower 60. I will eventually get there and help out more in raids. I do kind of regret going for JE instead of rey. I just got him to 5 so I will go to 7.

As much as I want to level her up, I need to spend guild coins getting QGJ to gear IX. Those binoculars are a pain in the ass to come by.

I need some advice for which toons to focus on next (looking for raiders):

1. Arena: I have IG88, Eeth, and Sid
2. GW: I have Lumi, Teebo, Datcha (39/65), Poggle (this week), IG86, and Phasma
3. Cantina: I have Ahsoka (24/30), Fives (0/65), Daka (this week), QGJ, and Poe (11/65)

Other 7* I have: Barriss, GS, JC, Yoda, Chirpa (almost)

Also, for Tier 7, it was said we should have Gear 8, but I don't remember seeing a level requirement. Since credits are tight, and I will still have to promote 3 more, I want to plan my credit spending carefully. Is there a target toon level?

Arena: I would focus on Ackbar or ST Han. Ackbar's dispel is very useful for P1 of the raid, and Han's taunt TM is very helpful in P2 and P3.
GW: I would focus on RP or Cad Bane. RP is a pretty decent DPS character once you get her levelled up.
Cantina: Continue working on Fives.

For Tier 7, the more 7* you have the better. It would be best to focus on getting them to 7* first, and then focus on the gear, and then finally the character level. The thing is, to get most characters to gear 8, they need to be pretty close to level 70 anyway.

Thanks, Chase. Since I do a paltry amount of damage in T6 P1, I'll go for Ackbar. Must be fate, because I got my first Ackbar shard in GW tonight. For GW, I'll start on RP. Fives in Cantina shouldn't be too bad, since he has a couple of nodes too.

I'll spend my credits on promoting to 7* and leveling to G8. Glad to hear they will still be useful at minimum levels.

Another question: I've only used one omega upgrade (QGJ basic), do you have a recommendation for a second omega? I should have enough for a third by the time T7 raid starts too.

Got a crafted droid caller from the Raid which got QGJ to Gear 9. :banana:

Once the Omega event returns this weekend I'll be using my first Omega on his primary for the turn meter reduction chance.

Do you have Rey? Most people Omega all of her attacks. I see you will have Daka this week. The Omega for her primary attack is supposed to be pretty good as well. That's who I will be using my second one on.

What level is your Phasma? Victory March Omega is supposed to be nice if you use her a lot (-1 cool down).

I used my first Omega on QGJ's basic, and my second on Daka's basic. Those are probably the most useful ones to do first.

I decided to use some guild credits for a piece of gear to boost 88 to gear 8. My droid team is slowly coming along. I figured, that as long as I am not booted from guild, I will eventually get the credits to get JE to 7* anyway. It is a long farm for him anyway.

In case you hadn't heard yet, we are looking to move T7 up a couple of days next week to coincide with the Guild Leaderboard reset. We have no idea how that's going to shake out for us, but we are going to rely on LINE communication heavily to coordinate.

Is there anything we can do to help you be more successful at the raids? Are you trying P1 only to find it ruins you? Are you making proper use of the door mechanism in P2 and P3 by only running one battle in each?

I suck at phase 1. My dps guys can't kill guards in time.

Just got enough shards to 7 86. He's only gear 7, one item keeping me from 8. I don't have the credits, but will by raid time. After I get him to 7, I will start leveling my guys over 70.

With 86 done, I have to figure who to go for w gw. Dathcha as I am going for jaw a and je, though dathcha seems worse of the three. Poggle for droid team, but probably putting je ahead of him. Or just pick a random character hoping for an eventual boost, new event they will excel in, or new meta.

I haven't even been trying to kill the guards in P1 for some time. I just dispel and try to survive long enough to do decent damage on the captain. It's a fruitless effort for me to try to kill them with so much HP.

Dathcha is the worst of the Jawas and probably unnecessary if you have 3 droids to fill the ranks with JE and Jawa. But if you're looking for T7 body count, then you should go for anyone. The good thing about GW is that, assuming you finish it every day, you can take a character from 0 to 7* in 22 days.

I will finish RP and Magmatrooper on Sunday and then take Cad Bane up to 7*. After that I only have NSI, TR, and Biggs to finish. I'm not sure that I will bother with any of them, though. I might be converting all of those into Shard Shop purchases at a very shitty exchange rate, but at least they'd be for characters I care about.

I only have one squad of 7* characters and one squad of 6* characters so I don't get very far in the raids. I think I a. came to the game a little later than others, b. when I first played I didn't necessarily work on character shards with as much focus as I do now, c. am drastically behind on credits to upgrade people.

As soon as I see the door mechanism, I go for it and then hit the rancor with all I've got.

We will not be doing the T7 raid early, but sticking with the 6/4 plan. There is a Guideline and Playbook that we will be posting in the main LINE chat soon. I will link to it here as well and probably in the in-game chat.

T7 will take coordination to finish. So much so that we will be asking only certain people to take part in P1. Then we will likely be having the weaker rosters hit P2 first to maximize their damage with the door mechanic then sit out until P3 or P4 (depending on when everyone can get on the leaderboard for payout). Once P4 hits, it'll be a free-for-all.

As you can see, credits are my challenge. I literally just hit 1 million credits a moment ago, so I'm open to where I should spend them.

In my daily tasks, I spend my energy to work on building shards for those characters who are the farthest along while trying to save up credits. I usually try to level up one of the low characters to save credits toward promotions. The big challenge is Galactic War. I hit a wall on early nodes all the time and just can't get the credits out of it that I used to be able to, unfortunately.

In the raids, Team 02 gets off one, maybe two hits before they're all crushed in one blow. But Team 01 lasts quite a while (at least, from my point of view).

I'm open to suggestions. Now that there's a new LINE thread specific to teamwork-oriented goals, I can follow that a lot easier than the other one which is ridiculous. The message boards at that other website don't seem to really contain a lot but if I'm missing something there please let me know.

I'd move Asajj up to your first group so you have someone to remove the taunts and then hit the Boss. You really should farm GS. He is a nice DPS character that's easy to farm.

Thanks for taking the time to post. I agree I would sub Ajaii in for Chewie for first team. I'm not really a fan of taunters unless needed for a particular node. Otherwise, they are just taking up room. I would also get all of those guys up to L76 so you can add an Omega to their primary attack. It should be +15% damage which is huge. Hopefully you are using Dooku as your leader, but you could make an argument for Lumi.

I would stop with Fett for now as he is not that great. Instead, I would focus all resources into first QGJ but farm Ahsoka's hard nodes for extra shards and give her catina rewards when you are done with QGJ.

I would then focus resources on Daka, RG, and Teebo. Active hard farms.

Since you have him at 7* anyway, you should get Sid to L70 to help you more in raids.

Finally, focus your credits on your main toons. If you are trying to work with 20 toons you are spreading yourself too thin. Do a snowball - work on one then shift to another, then another, etc.

Let us know if you need any help. I'd like to see you with 8 7*/G8 players by June 15th.

And then, who should I now farm in Arena? I have 88, Eeth, and Sid. Should I go for STH, Asajj, Savage O, HK-47, or Ackbar?

And I'm about to have my first furnace. Any recommendations for who to use it on? Lumi, or someone else?

I play every single day, but I have been playing since the game launched. I do buy the 21 day crystal packs which helps as well.
