Today is the day I feel like saying "F it"... I'm still plugging away. I think I want to get 7* Han but I can't even bring myself to get pummeled in the Arena anymore. I went from rank #46 to #122 by 6pm on Saturday.
The lack of substantial rewards are killing me too... ALL my characters need the exact same gear -- in quantities that are ridiculous. I'm not having fun... I think I'm going to hit my breaking point this week.

This is what's magically addictive about this game. No matter how hard I grind to get a character, gear, etc that I want, once I get them and realize they weren't the awesomeness I thought they'd be, I'm tricked into going back and farming yet another character, gear, etc, to try and achieve that.

I knew when I got into the game it would be a constant grind, but really, it really, really, really never stops. :D

Unfortunately that's true for me too. I grind a character to completion, then say "Oh, NOW who can I use my cantina rewards for?"

I agree with the earlier discussion that the ship battles take a ridiculously long time.

And really this is what's satisfying about the game in the short term--always something new to do, and discouraging about the game in the long term--it never ends.

And the grinds take a really long time, even if it's someone you can farm in various ways.

I've been doing some major surgery on my mods. That and 7*-ing some characters has put a big hit on what used to be a large credit surplus. :(

I have almost 4 million credits right now, which is a lot considering I'm usually broke 20 minutes after credit heist ends. I need to hoard for GK in 2 weeks so he can be level 85 and gear IX five minutes after he's unlocked. rotfl

Now that I've unlocked the challenge for Zeta's I'm not too worried about my ship arena rank dropping. I'm around 25. I'll do one battle a day to stay near there on auto. GW credits will go to getting some ships to 7*. Other than Poe's ship and a few clones shards, all of my fleet credits will now go to zetas as well.

I may do the Bariss zeta even though it will probably be nerfed at some point. Those resistance teams look amazing for the Raid and arena, but I only have Poe and Rey geared enough. If I run Bariss, GK, Fives, Aayla, and say Rex, I'd have everyone at gear X or XI as soon as I unlock GK.

I'm happy to be in the 400's Obey. I'm slowly trying to build up my ships but some of them are for toons that I don't care or have not leveled/geared. As I said before, just trying to do my dailies without stressing over this game.

I worked all weekend and literally didn't login for two days, unexpectedly. When I hopped back on I was pretty much on auto pilot for my tasks. I have to admit, I didn't miss it all that much. I think I may need to be done or take anote intentional break soon. I don't know.

All joking aside Pin, it's a shame you left. If you ever get the itch to come back and don't want the added time of planning things don't hesitate. Things are going smoothly. Tank is so easy now we launch at reset like we do with Rancor in case anyone wants to post a zero. Tank went down today in 6 hours. Just wish they would redo the tank rewards. That gear blows.

I realized last night that I had no interest in doing the Rancor raid--- which was typically right up my alley (high rewards and Han shards)... I also got thru about 3 nodes on GW and just didn't feel like finishing it.
Thanks to you guys though, I was able to play the hell out of that game for a few extra months.

I stopped completing the GW now. I think thats the grind that I hate most. It sucks for my ships/zetas, but it's much nicer to just hop in and play. Being able to buy a million credit with Arena reward help too.

Well, I got my Barriss Zeta refund, which is good because even with the persisent-after-death healing, I didn't find her all that great.

But now who do I put the Zetas on? I barely use any of the other zeta characters....

Fives is still a good choice. Zader is good. Zaul is a god if you are using sith. Cody is fantastic if you are using clones.

When I accumulate enough I'm going to go with either Cody or Vader. It will still be a while until i have Clone Sergeant and Echo at 7 stars for the raid, so I may do Vader so I can do an Empire arena team. I have everyone I need, I just need to raise TFP and Boba a couple of gear levels. Then again, if I run GK in arena I may do Fives.

I still enjoy the game but GW is the grind that annoys me the most. Plenty of nights I just don't do it. I also hate how hard a time I have with both arenas. My Shards seem brutal. My Ship power is 125k+ and I have a hard time staying in the top 200. I can't break into the top 20 in the regular arena.

I still need to work on Vader he is 43/100.

GW was the worst IMO... I hated plodding thru it. Regarding ships, it's odd you're struggling so it must be the group your stuck with. I was 110k power but ranked between 135-155.
I floated between 45 and 85 for regular arena. My highest ranking was 36... which lasted about 4 minutes lol

For this one:

So I've greatly dialed back on my gameplay, but because we have such a great guild, it's not an issue. We still plow through Raids, etc. I'm basically staying out of chat and playing once a day, getting all my dailies and then some. Makes playing enjoyable to not have it such a big part of my life.

I grabbed Barriss' Zeta again, and coupled her with General Kenobi. Wow--what a combo. Without any effort, I can hold my spot in Arena. I've lost my entire team and been up against a fully-healthed JK Anakin, Biggs and Wedge and win with Barriss alone, which is crazy. Her hits are weak, but since they can't heal and she basically heals every time she's hit, she just outlasts them. Takes forever though LOL...

I'm not sure who to best put with General Kenobi and Barriss. Maybe JK Anakin, zeta'd Yoda, Lumi, Ahsoka, Mace, ObiWan or Aayla...not sure...maybe I need to go the Emperor/Vader route instead...

Yeah, I like the guild. If I can do raid, I do it; if not, I don't. It doesn't matter. I make sure I do my 600 a day and 0 each raid no matter what. I just do what I want now, and that's all, no pressure

So I've found a new favorite team:

Gen Kenobi (lead), gear X
Barriss unique zeta'd, gear XI
Yoda unique zeta'd, gear XI
QGJ, gear XI
JK Anakin, gear VIII

Was able to just wipe out a team and end the fight with everyone in full health. First time in a long time that I've done that in Arena. May switch out QGJ for Aayla later, but she's only three stars for now...

Zylo in tank P1 is nuts. If I wasn't distracted today and forgot to back out before enrage my second time in, I would have done several million easily.

I've wondered that and yet when I face a Zeta'd QGJ, I win. I think my strong health increase across all my Jedi trump his speed. Maybe.
