I think I'm done with the daily challenges that don't provide mats, droids, or credits. The gear ones don't give me anything worth the effort any more. My teams can auto-win even the highest tiers, but I have surpluses of hundreds of the 9 gear types they drop. Not worth the time and now I can't even sell the excess.
I switched to QGJ as leader in GW because I'm still using Lumi and JC in there so the speed boost seems to be helping decimate the opponent and bring the massive heals back more quickly. He's just a little squishy for me at 4* even though he's level 70 and nearly in gear 8.

Just keep autoing the challenges. They will release new characters, including at least two more this month.

I just wish they'd make the gear rewards more interesting. Even releasing new characters who would be worth investing in, I'll still have a surplus because I'm not going to worry about 80% of my roster.
Meanwhile, I have to farm 50 things for a single item for each of my high level guys and there's no other way to get them but from missions that require 10 energy per attempt (20 if I want a Ima Gun-Di shard). Put those in the rotation or add another tier for those of at level 70. Something...

Wow, JC and Mace have become very hard farms. I find it hard to believe that Jedi shard drop rates were not lowered by the devs in response to the Yoda event.

Honestly I've had stretches both ways, even after complaining about Mace drops earlier. I had one run where I got I think 8 shards in a row. But Dooku, fuck Dooku, I swear I get one shard out of every 12 runs.

I actually have a feeling he will be the next character added to shipments. I am fully convinced it will be a dark side player. The ONLY light side player I think it might be is Leia b/c she is by far the most common chrome drop.

Farming means repeatedly playing certain missions to collect specific pieces of gear or character shards. For example, I'm farming Catina 3-A to get JC shards to star him up from 5* to 6*. Does that help?

I have recently come up on hard times in GW. Like by Node 3/4 I am pretty much done for. It's helped me to realize I need much more focus on basic character development. So I'm going to concentrate mostly on main players in terms of gear and also getting up basic attacks to highest levels. That should pay dividends by next month but until then, it will be slow going I think.

I also believe a dark side character is about to get added to shipments. I predict Maul before Dooku. It seems more analogous to QGJ's previous availability.
Plus we must expect a Sith or similar event coming up. For Emperor Palpatine, perhaps?

By my estimation, QGJ will be the last Jedi I will 7* to continue this pursuit and that'll take another 24 days at roughly 7.5 shards/day in Cantina shipments

The drop rate for shards is supposed to be 35%. I agree sometimes it doesn't feel like that...RNGesus.
