I think after Koth/Yoda, I'll be farming Savage Opress in Arena. Not only is he Sith for what must be necessary for a future event, his power has been reworked to insta-kill anyone under 25% health.

But SO does seem to have a bit of a boost, I just don't think he's as powerful as people are saying and it's a bit illusory.

Perhaps, but in the later DS stages, those ewoks and wookiees have an awful lot of health so 25% can be much more than 3-4k. Even if he's completely useless, I foresee the need for an all-Sith squad.

JC farming normalized today. Got 4/9 success rate. Got 15 more Mace shards 
I've been experimenting with QGJ in GW and the Healer/Support challenge. I really, really like:
Phasma (Leader)
QGJ
Daka
Ventress
JC/Lumi
The bonus attacks and stuns flow. If I could ever unlock Dooku (35/50) I will replace Ventress. It's amazing when QGJ calls in an ally to attack and then Phasma's leader ability brings in a third. So hott!

Great Scott! Had Plo Koon drop for me this morning from a Bronzium Card. Another Jedi to add to the mix. I have continued with the advice you guys have given and I am using 200 crystals a day for refreshes and I am ranked @ 391 in the Arena.
My player level is 42 and my current roster is:

Hey, I just pulled Royal Guard!! FML.
Believe it or not, on bronze pulls only and random shard drops, he is almost at 4*. I would have loved to pull Plo Koon
Anyway, Cruzness, your path is like most F2P and the characters you have largely mimic what others at your level have.
If I were you I would direct massive Cantina farming into GS and do not stop until you hit the top. He is probably one of the top 3 damage dealers in the game and he is FAST. I would direct further resources into gearing him up but only at this time continue to train Chewie, JC (he should b ea big focus to get up to at least 5*), Talia and Jawa. GS and PK should be priorities.
Stop farming Dooku for now. His shard drops are very hard, and he is really not that great of a character until he gets to 6*. That will take forever. Continue to dedicate rewards as follows:
GW - Lumi to 6* then switch to Phasma to 5*
Arena - All Sid
Cantina - QGJ
Do not dedicate resources to players you do not anticipate using long term. You will soon find that training and credit resources are tough to come by!

I got Plo a bit earlier. There are only two places to farm shards for him. Cantina battle 4G and Dark Side 7C. Bariss has three DS nodes (5C, 5E and 8A). I will focus on her before I even think of farming Plo there. I don't see using up my Cantina energy for him either. I think that by the time I'm ready to go after Yoda, I'll have five other 5*-7* Jedi and a 3* Plo Koon.

Mace now 60/80. Still thinking I can at least get some Yoda shards this go around. QGJ now at 4*, he won't make 5* in time Catina rewards too slow.

Got to use him twice now.
What tier did you have to get to unlock him?
I didn't realize before but I have 4/5 Jedi. Thinking of going for Eeth and stating Yoda event. Though I may only get to tier 2. 2* Jedi tier. Not sure if worth it. Plus I'm short on training droids to level up everyone.

He unlocks after the 5th tier. I got Mace to 5 this morning via cantina farming and then used a bunch of my arena tokens to get Ehhh(should be his name) to 5*.

3 days in a row where i can't get past the midway point in GW. So frustrating! The grind is getting to me (shards, gear, etc). I think I'm done with this game.

Gooter, do you have a web cam or something? I bet I can get you past these levels with what you have. GW is an art. Once you know the strokes, you will do much better.
