Man, that Kylo Ren is an asshole.
He's quickly becoming my #1 priority to eliminate when he's in the opposite squad. I swear he gets to attack 3-4x more than anybody else. Plus, he seems to counter attack every single time he takes damage.
I love this game, btw. It's like crack.

Shard drops have extreme variance. I can get three in a row and then go 10 without one.
The good news is that due to nice run of arena luck, I am now 20 minutes away from Sidious and if I can get 2 Lumi shards out of six hard missions, tomorrow evening I will have her too. Poe by the end of the weekend.

Update - now rocking with Sidius. Tomorrow brings Lumi (probably). Need training droids bad. Shouldn't have trained up all those worthless players. I hope at some point they allow trade ins. I doubt it though.

GW is seriously bugged. I can get through the first six battles then I get hit with a super team 10 levels above me. It's beyond aggravating.

Alright, so I spoke too soon I guess. I beat my first GW! Levels and power don't really matter - just finding the right combination and sequence of enemies. Once you have Lumi as a second healer, things just go much better.
I've found that having a taunter, damage dealer, two healers, and a sacrificial pawn is a great combination.
However, I was REALLY undewhelmed with the loot for winning GW. Just some gems, ability disks and a useless shard. Is that it? Does it get better at higher levels?

I'm about to unlock Daka from Cantina and shard farming. Is it worth taking her beyond 4* given the rest of my team? I imagine only needing her for DS battles and occasionally GW if, for some reason, it suddenly becomes difficult. I would much rather switch my focus to getting Poe to 7*. Thoughts?

Also, my reading of the official forums is that Poe is FAR more dependent on gear than * level. Many folks are stopping at 6* with him to focus on gearing him up. Everyone is big into gear over stars on the forum. That's the meta right now. There are even some folks with 5* characters and complete gear mopping up 7*s with lesser gear. Seems to me like the prevailing opinion is to star to 6* then gear up to max, then 7*. Calculating ROR, max gear make more difference (alot more) than 6 to 7 star bonus. However, this may exempt Lumi and DS given how powerful they are.
As for Daka, she is really a glass cannon of sorts. Great heal for a DS but zero offense so you really have her only to heal. I would probably keep her at 4* for now, gear up, then maybe refocus.
I was under some crazy impression you got alot of shards in addition to gems for completing GW. Oh well.
