Rumor is Activision is no longer doing DLC exclusivity due to low sales of the season pass and DLC for Ghosts and Advanced Warfare.
Of course, that could all change by tonight at Sony's keynote. |

I wish that Old Republic expansion would come to consoles as a stand-alone. Gimme more KOTOR.

I'm VERY curious about Elite Dangerous on the Xbox One. Did they announce pricing for that?
And that controller looks cool, too, but it's over the top. If it was priced the same as a regular Xone controller, and the current controller went down to like $40 permanently, maybe I'd pick one up. Backwards compatibility is two years too late for me. Anything that came out during the PS3/360 era that wasn't an exclusive gets played on the PC. Still, it's nice for people with a backlog, I suppose. And Fallout looks fucking sweet, sweet, sweet! |

Man, $150 for that controller? Damn. I plan on getting a new Fanatec Wheel at some point this year, which is already bank breaking, so I may have to wait for a deep discount on it.

Am I crazy, or wasn't this thing just listed on Amazon for like $65 - $70 a couple hours ago?

Not something I'll be picking up today, but for that price I'll give it a go. |

So did MS say anything about what they'll be including in the $100 Halo 5 LE besides "bonus content"?

Nope, but the BJ in the $250 version was confirmed

I don't know what Recore is, but I like the look of it and the team behind it.

That was one of the worst conferences ever, especially when compared to the 2 amazing ones that came before it.
Seriously, they mentioned 3 new IPs at the beginning and only showed one of them. They have a new Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge, and Battlefront and spent about 98% of their time NOT on those things. Meanwhile, ALL THE SPORTS EVER. |

I loved the comments about reimagining (or whatever he said) the passing game in Madden, and it seems to amount to pressing one of three different buttons for the type of catch you want to make. And that HoopsGawd thing was so painful to watch.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole!
Stick of Truth sequel! |

I don't think it is a sequel, just a new game...

They just said onstage that it continues the story and you play as the new kid again.

Posted in the Xbox One thread, but you can vote for which titles will be considered for backwards compatibility. Theory is that titles with higher votes will be treated as a higher priority.
http://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298...-compatibility Vote for Deadly Premonition, Burnout Paradise, and Alan Wake, or you will suffer. hard. |

Re: The Official E3 Thread of Xbox One Superiority - June 16-18, 2015
MS had a good presentation since it seems like they learned from last year;
"Kinect, DRM, media-center? What are those? Here, check out these GAMES!" |
Re: The Official E3 Thread of Xbox One Superiority - June 16-18, 2015
Two years ago, you mean. :)
Last year was ALL games. This year was 95% games. I expect Sony's conference to be a lot of, "Look at these numbers? Are you seeing this shit? LOOK at how many consoles we're selling. LOOK at all the copies of games. Isn't it beautiful? Isn't it grand? Fuck the competition. What? Oh, games? We have some of those... for next year. But look at this chart of all the consoles we've sold. It's fucking gorgeous, mate." ;) |
Re: The Official E3 Thread of Xbox One Superiority - June 16-18, 2015
Time flies - don't recall much of plans from last year coming to fruition. Was Sunset Overdrive their "big" release?
|
Re: The Official E3 Thread of Xbox One Superiority - June 16-18, 2015
Someone posted some breakdowns of how each company did in terms of promises vs. deliveries in the last year. The links are somewhere in this thread, I think. They all did alright.
