PC games actually appreciated? Are these like MIB games or something, because I always thought the opposite was true, even moreso than console games.

If I go through games just to clear out my backlog gaming no longer becomes fun and turns into work. I'll play what I want to play for fun. I wanted to play Bloodborne now rather than waiting.

Re: So do you ever actually play every game in your backlog?
As I was making folders on my PS4 a couple nights ago, I was wondering how others treat their PS+ & Games with Gold freebies each month. Do you download and count them as your backlog? Try to play a little to see if you like it and delete it? Or are you more like me and download it and completely forget that you even have it?
This is where the digital future really fucks me up. It's extremely difficult for me to keep track and find ways to play digital games without them getting lost in the shuffle. I keep staring at my dozens of unplayed games on the shelf and tend to play one of those first since they are taking up physical space.

Most times I don't even download it. I just "buy" it on the online store to lock it in in case I ever want to play it.

I add them all to my library, and then go through fits and spurts of downloading several at a time. I'll try out all of them, unless they're sports games, before fully deleting. Quite a few didn't look all that interesting and ended up being favorites, so I don't want to dismiss a game without giving it a chance.
