You will have to get those wolfpack rounds unlocked and use it in IB, just to watch the glory.

Grats! Bout time.

Survived my first night of IB. Let's just say that Bloodborne is less frustrating than PvP in Destiny. Ugh. I did finish my Bad JuJu bounty so that's a plus. Thorn is going slower though as expected. I may give it a go again. Thanks to the crew for dragging me along.

Control is not all about killing, there are tactics involved to succeed. I'd rather have a smart player who isn't the best shooter than a dumbass feeding the other team easy kills while taking a few down himself.

You need a mix of offense and defense to win.

As for me, My Warlock is now done with Iron Banner. He's at Rank 4 1/2, but I also have 5 completed bounties to cash in. I'm going to cash them in on Sunday, which should be enough to max him out. Also, it'll give me a chance to farm for glimmer and buy the helmet before cashing them in.

My Titan is near Rank 4, so he'll be done soon.

My Hunter is at Rank 3, so she still needs some work.

Thanks. Yeah somehow I managed to luck out and get the Iron Wrath bounty too. Lol! I think you said it was 10 kills without dying. That's definitely a miracle. I won't be getting those headshot bounties anytime soon since I had 5 for the whole night. Will I still be able to level IB without the bounties? Just a lot slower I assume.

Are PS3 and PS4 same or different servers? I just bought it on PS3 yesterday.

It's slower, but not impossible. You're also handcuffed by not having the emblem, class item and shader.

But one of the bounties is a gimme (10000XP is cake), and getting 10 melees isn't too bad. If you use Corrective Measure instead of Truth you could get the Machine Gun headshots possibly.

Just remember that each day the tempered buff gets better and better. On Sunday, it's double, meaning each bounty is worth 200 and wins are 100. On Monday, they're worth 250 and 125.

Depends on what you mean.

If you play on the PS3, your progress is seamless between that and the PS4. Meaning I can play on either system (I own both versions), and my progress carries over from one to the other (all your progress is saved by Bungie).

However, if you were hoping to play with people on the PS4, that's not possible.

Not sure how much it could improve Praxic Fire's speed. Either helmet would build the super with kills.

to answer my own question I read grenade kills via radiance do not count toward the quintessence transfer perk (also on the Skull Of Dire I Ain't Your Momma)

I am officially done with Iron Banner this time around.

Rank 5 for everyone. New Helmets for everyone. A new Spear.

I was considering another Spear, but I think 2 is good.

Ended up getting Silimar's Wrath 4 or 5 times, Jolder's Hammer would not drop for me.

3 ships dropped, all in the first couple days.

The feeling of being done with the laggy play, asshat players, sniper hand cannons and horrible map rotation...priceless.

Now with IB down, it's all about preparing for House Of Wolves.

I wound up taking Friday (the day this dropped) off of work .... my wife had me helping run the kid back and forth between dance another event
I was leaving just after 8:30 to pick her up at 9:00 when my wife who was voulunteering at the event called me and said I could turn around and go home that cleanup wouldn't be long and she would take our daughter home .... went back home, signed on and played and that is when I got the drop

Ranks can be carried over reset? I really don't want to start over again for the next IB.

ranks do not carry over

there is a glitch that some of us have been able to take advantage of in the past where you hover in orbit before the reset and hit the tower right after the reset (may need to do other tweeks like switching a piece of gear on your character if it says qualifications not met) and it will have your existing rank but you must have glimmer you need as you cannot leave the tower after that without it resetting .... of course Bungie can patch this at any time and they also changed the reset time from 4:00 am CT this last IB to sometime later in the morning

don't know if I'll be playing tonight, as I mentioned last night all my characters are at level 4 which is all I needed .... was only playing last night to help you and get any possible drops
hell I still have another NF I haven't run, 3 weeklies I think (maybe 2), haven't grabbed first chest from Crota, etc
may do some or none of that tonight

I hit rank 4 with my titan so I now have the full set of IB armor. I need to farm some glimmer tonight so I can pick up the sniper rifle. I already have a pair of the hand cannons so no need to get to 5. Just need to farm glimmer to get 2 rifles.

So i am at level 24. I easily get spanked in the IB.

To get level 30, you basically need to do VoG but you need to be 26 (28?) to do it.

So how do I get from 24 to 28....daily strikes, PvP and just keep hoping for drops or rewards that have a bit more light than what I have now? I left the game for a while but I am coming back and would like to hit 30 before House of Wolves drops.

Can't you just buy armor from the vanguard vendors to go directly to 31? If so, yeah, just grind out vanguard marks to pay for them. You can earn 100 per week, so in a week or two, you should be all set. The most efficient way to get them is probably farming public events, unless something has changed.

If you're smart, you can usually multitask and do bounties while you farm the public events.

The smartest thing to do would be to wait until HOW drops to buy armor. Get your Vanguard Rank to 2 at least by them (3 unlocks weapons too), and after HOW comes out all the Vendors will have gear that can ascend to Level 34. At worst, it would start at Level 31.

As for me, the reset crew had it's smallest turnout yet. It ended up being joe, McRubick, and myself. We started with the Nightfalls/Weeklies, which for some reason are the Archon Priest again. Nightfall is triple burn, Weekly is Void.

We did those without much effort, I was rewarded with:

Sunbreakers (Worse roll than the ones I got from the Nightfall weeks ago)
11 Shards (or whatever I trade them in for)
Young Ahamkara's Spine (Terrible roll, far worse than the one I already have)

So then we hit a bit of a snag. In the end, it was decided we would 3 man Crota on normal. Each of us took a turn on the sword, which was a first for joe. I went first, and did my usual solid run. I got a Dragon's Breath out it. Joe did a little better as he was rewarded with his 3rd Gjallarhorn, and a Dragon's Breath. McRubick had the biggest haul with Plan C, No Land Beyond and Monte Carlo dropping.

So no Vault Of Glass, no Hard Crota, but we still got quite a bit done. Still looking for a 4th Horseman.
