Re: Recent regret purchases...

I bought a wii around christmas time to play Twilight Princess (got sick of trying to find component cables for my GC). Even at bargain used prices, I regret the purchase as I haven't touched it yet.

Lego Marvel (I've 100% like 8 of these games and I'm burnt out on them). I bought Lego Lord of the Rings back when it came out played like an hour and stopped so I don't why I bought Marvel.

Killzone: Shadowfall (I was looking for a game at launch and even though I haven't played a Killzone game I figured the single player would be fun and boy was I wrong. I made it through the first 6 or 7 levels and stopped. It was a slog to get through.)

For those that aren't enjoying Shadowfall, did you happen to play and enjoy Killzone 2 and 3? Just wondering, because I enjoyed those, wondering if Shadowfall will be similar...

Good one, I nabbed LEGO Batman 2 and LEGO Harry Potter during one of the xbox sales. Played both for a couple hours and, yep, LEGO & Batman and LEGO & Harry Potter. Nothing has changed since I played through the first couple LEGO Star Wars games. Zero advancement in that series. A buddy keeps telling me to try Marvel on the PS4, but I'm not falling into that trap. I'm done with this series.

I should give LEGO City: Undercover a chance but the load times scare me.

On the other hand, most of those Lego games are on sale on Steam for $5 ... so why not get the ones you are missing?

Undercover is probably my favorite of all of them. It's still basically the same as the other's but it at least feels new since it's not telling you a story/using characters that you're already familiar with. The load times were long but nothing that bothered me.

Not really a regret, but I just am not feeling the story or the gameplay much, and that's InFamous: Second Son. Gonna trade it in to get $40 credit at GameStop.

Yeah, while played enough stuff on the Wii to make my purchase of it worth it, I played a lot less of it mostly due to the pain in the ass of it's controls/controllers. I think I played more VC games on it than regular releases.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Ouya (maybe because nobody else was dumb enough to buy one?). Mine is still in the box, unopened. And apparently foxdvd is still waiting for his.

I had a Ouya for a week, it resold for what I paid for it so no worries.

Re: Recent regret purchases...

bought AC II and then AC III without having played II. played II and didn't have that much fun.

also GTA V, not so much a regret but just don't have the time to get that involved in a game right now. it came with nice SteelBook™ case so there's that...
