I love The Gauntlet but it is really whipping me hard this time. On the other hand I am 23rd right now in Balance Of Power which will get me the 11th cover I need for Steve if I can hang on for 12.5 more hours. Buffed Juggerballs is a beast. I've snagged two 3* black widows in the last couple days and I only need one more red and one more purple to have the perfect 5/3/5 build I want.

Final gauntlet essential is She-Hulk. All I have left is the final of that line of nodes and it's just decimating any team I throw at it, even putting the max number of boosts into it.
ETA: Got through it this morning on my first try, using maxed 3* Daken and Black Widow, 5 +20% boosts and 3 +1 boosts for all and green/black. Hopefully I can snag a couple more covers for Loki's new power during this season.

so they are giving out a black mystique cover, 100 coins and 1000 crystal for ending season 7 too early. i did get stuck in a loop where it wouldn't let me claim the items, so i had to restart the game.

I logged in and I got a Heroic 10 pack, but I'm not sure if that's because I emailed support because of Android Lollipop issues.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for your patience as we looked into the issue of Season VIII ending three hours earlier than intended. There has been a huge amount of data to sift through and logistics to sort out as we've investigated who was adversely affected by the early ending and what form compensation should take.
For the players who selected the last time shard for the Eight Is Enough Event and thus could not add those final points to their overall season-ending scores, we will be providing the following (based on points earned before the Event ended);
2-3k Point Range - A Beast (Classic) Animal Inside cover
3-4k Point Range - one 10x Heroic Pack token
4k-Plus Point Range - 1k Iso-8 and 100 Hero Points
We will also be expanding the awarding of Thor (Goddess of Thunder) covers by approximately an additional 35% of top Alliances. We plan on providing this compensation by the end of the week.
For the large amount of players, outside of the groups mentioned above, we are still discussing what and how we will be providing compensation. Further word on that will be forthcoming soon.

In global domination, I am in the node with juggernaut, magneto and loki. Ummm, yeah. Fuck this game. Neverending cascades. Even with 2 tanks and an attack character i can only get 2 of them down. Anyone play/beat that one yet?
Btw, that new green loki skill is fucking absurd. If you make a 4 or more match, he puts out countdown tiles that steal your colors. Impossible to even compete with that skill.

I used 3* Thor, Daken and Black Widow for that one, with boosts to give me extra purple and green to start. Wasn't too bad. I like Loki's new skill, just because it's the first one in a while to make me rethink how I'm playing. If you just concentrate on him first and avoid 4+ matches, it's not too tough to deal with.

Was on one of the last nodes with lady Thor, ragnarock and loki. I was crushing it. Had it down to just rags. He had 139 HP left and finished off my last guy. Frustrating.

I ended up beating the last node with all 2* characters.
OBW, MStorm and Ares. 20% boost in all slots, maxed out. Cost me 500 in gold coins because I had to buy more, but worth it for the new Loki cover.

Did alot better than I did. Took a bunch of boosts to get my She-Hulk and I gave up after that.
the algebra behind the scaling thinks I'm a lot tougher than I really am I guess. Now the only 3* or above I'm missing is Lady Parts Thor.

i wonder if they changed the percentages in the standard tokens or if i was lucky. i got an update and i had 3 of them. 2 2* (OBW and Ares) and 3* Storm yellow. i will take that luck!

I've been having a heck of a time with the game lately. Can't get logged in on wifi, none of my points are registering and because of that I fell out of top 100 in the Starfall PvP and lost a 3* Loki I needed. So I'm pretty fairly aggravated and now I'm completely out of the running for an Elektra.

The log in issues cost me a chance at Elektra, especially with points not counting for close to a whole day. I also figure I lost a Loki cover from the Sentry PvP and because I was scrambling to catch up in the PvE I missed out on a Deadpool cover in the Loki PvP I did get my 5th Sentry red (10th overall) from the Thunderbolt Mountain event and I bagged a yellow Hood and my 11th Captain Marvel 3* from tokens. I love Captain Marvel and I know people rag on her red power but I love it. It's the perfect foil for guys like Magneto and Falcon who eat lightning and crap protect tiles. I think I'm going to get my 10 pack season prize and take a couple weeks off. Maybe read a book or something.

This Wolverine Enemy of the State thing looks neat, they have waves of enemies now based on that initial node. New artwork for Astonishing Wolverine too, which looks pretty neat.

there's also new artwork for patch wolvie. the wave thing is neat. makes storm with her blue tornado thing and thor more powerful. just build up those skills, and sit on it until a new wave comes, then just destroy everyone.
