Why don't we have a middle finger emoticon?

We have that at least.
But I'm more than happy to donate my MGS V CE to the emoticon cause in this circumstance.

You will need a DualShock 4.
Theoretically, PS4 games could be made available, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that since that'd cannibalize PS4 sales.

You'll need a Dual Shock, but I don't think it has to be a DS4 controller.
Most of us think the service is absurdly priced. I have played some when it was in Beta and it did work pretty well though.

You can pay for a subscription or rent games individually. There's a full list of available games at https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ex...psnow/rentals/

It's DS4 for the TV version, not sure why, perhaps bluetooth revisions. It works well, I think the pricing is fair personally but man did a lot of people bitch about it. (I'm one of those people that doesn't like keeping older consoles around).

well, i like the fact that you can just buy games for a fee and have them to keep in your library. much more reasonable than the sub service...

You can't buy them, only rent them. You can either rent individual titles, good for either 4-hour, 30 day or 90 day rental periods, or subscribe and have unlimited access to the titles covered by the subscription service.

I can't even find the pricing on playstation.com... so I now forgive Oldboy for coming here with questions. All I see when I search are links saying how ridiculous the pricing was when they first announced it in the beta period, but I thought they changed it? Or do you have to sign up for the free 7 day sub first?
The only place I can even find the 19.99 a month price is on the 7 day trial agreement page, but nothing about how much games cost.

Playstation Now, the service for your TV, isn't really available to browse or purchase from via the web. To make an actual rental, you'll have to do it from the PS Now interface on your TV.
This page shows titles available for rental, although it doesn't cite prices.

These two pages show rental prices, but they're both a bit old so may be out of date.

Are you going through the TV, or on the website? The PS Store is for digital downloads for the PS3/PS4/Vita/PSTV. Those purchases won't work with your TV.

Re: Playstation Now - Streaming Service Announced.
OK, so Oldboy did pm me, since the PS Now app is not sending sound to a soundbar via the optical interface, unlike everything else. From a previous thread I see he bought a Sony Bravia W80C, which appears to be model KDL-50W800C.
I found this info on setting up the audio system, but I don't see anything about it being input/app specific:
http://helpguide.sony.net/tv/cusltn1...level1_02.html
I don't know what soundbard Oldboy is using, but if it has HDMI input, it may be worthwhile to try that. Or try the analog audio out and see if that works with the PS Now app.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what the issue would be, if it's only that app. I found this thread, and some people reported soundbar issues on it, but their issues were the soundbars not working at all, I couldn't find any PS Now specific issues. Maybe posting a question there could get a response from a fellow owner of the TV.

They dropped the price to 59.99 a year (9.99 monthly) and will rotate in and out first party titles for a few months at a time. Still not as good as Gamepass, and I don't have the time to play both anyway, but it's getting better.

Re: Playstation Now - Streaming Service Announced.
Is there a better list of playstation NOW games than this:
https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ex...ames/#allgames
Like, sort-able by genre, and downloadability, co-op, etc ... ?
*edit ... found a nice one at IGN! https://www.ign.com/ps-now
