After the Hell they went through with PSN hacking in 2011, I certainly don't blame them for having tighter security measures now.

You would think but I have access to someone's account. I emailed support a month ago to clear it up but apparently they did nothing. Called them and shot them another email yesterday.

Someone registered their PSN account with an email address almost identical to one I use (but not one I use for PSN). I get PSN notices about when he adds funds, how much, his name, his gamertag, what he's buying, etc. I received over 24 emails this weekend. One for every item he buys. And if anyone is curious, Home is alive and well. He's spent nearly $40 on virtual clothing. I could easily retrieve his password and change it to fuck with him if I were that kind of person.

It's annoying but the bottom line is if I have this access to his info, does someone else out there have access to mine? Probably not, but it's still worrisome.

I've had a similar problem with some chick in CA. Same deal, I get emails every time she buys something at Macy's. I have her account, name, last 4 of her CC, what she buys, etc.

I guess this is what I get for getting into gmail early and picking a name/title only with no numbers.

I have the same for a redbox account in colorado for some shlubb with horrible taste in movies.

Could you send him a message via PSN asking him to change his email? You could give him a good scare by telling him what he's bought the last few days.

So has BF4 been fixed and are the fixes related to the MP only? I'm just doing the SP campaign now but with all this news on the patches and bugs for BF4 I can't tell for what which is why I stopped playing.

On the other hand, I'm not getting my purchase e-mails like I used to. I do get e-mails when I add funds though.

I changed my password..then changed it back to my original password...that will teach them...

So anyone replace their hard drive yet? Any benefit to 7200 RPM (I don't think there was a benefit last gen) or justifying the expense of an SSD?

I haven't replaced mine yet, but there was a pretty good video a few pages back that made a good case for going with a hybrid drive for the most "bang for your buck".

Thanks Groucho, I searched in the thread and found the video. Not a huge difference, and I'd be a little worried about how the PS4 firmware handles writes to the HDD, and if that affects the lifetime of the drive.

That said, I should probably upgrade capacity at least, but I've already played it. If I have PS+, can I just download the update, replace the drive, the download all my saves, or will I be missing something?

Pretty sure that's already been brought up in this thread. Last I heard, Twitch has now blocked the playroom app from live-streaming because of issues like this.
