I played the original Diablo when it first came out on a friend's PC. Kind of bored me. I take it that it's a better game now?

I'm more amazed that there are gamers these days that have never played a Diablo game.


I've actully been playing the 360 again with some friends. The second best blind buy behind Borderlands. The game is a joy in co-op though ou can play solo but with two or more is where it's at. It's a reward as you go system but while the maps can be the same...though random events do pop up...the enemies along with new weapons, abilities, armor along with using different characters with either another player or "companion" offers almost endless possibilites. I'm looking forward to the PS4 version and sadly will have to look for some new Diablo III mates to play with...unless I can convince one or two to join the "Blue Side"....

Other then the original finding it's way to the Playstation, I think console only people never heard of any of the hype around Diablo 2 and probably didn't pay as much attention when Diablo 3 came out on consoles.

Um, I don't know what kind of feedback they're reading, but I haven't seen a single person clamoring for this "share" bullshit.

Where's the fucking DLNA media server support?

Yeah, me too. I played it for a few days I think, but didn't "get" it back then, and never bothered to revisit it.

Neither have I. Those games have just never looked the least bit interesting to me.

What's a Diablo? Sounds scary to me.

They were some of the better co-op games of the time. I guess it makes sense that people haven't played it, as a franchise the series has only sold about 30m copies. It's just, odd.

I'm not surprised, there's a huge gap between the popular titles only (or tradionally) on PC and those who only play consoles. I imagine a lot of the top PC titles haven't even been sniffed by most console gamers, including MOBA games like League of Legends/DOTA 2, or strategy games like Starcraft or Civilization.

Yep. I've never played any of those.

Yeah, you're totally right. Even though I've "gamed" since 1981, I hadn't even heard of League of Legends until recently, and was surprised at how huge it is in tournaments, etc. And the only reason I know of Starcraft, again, is because I know people who worked on it.

Well it finally happened: I saw a PS4 in a store!!! That's the first time that has happened since Thanksgiving. I was at Target and they had 4 PS4s sitting in a case.

As for games, I've never played Diablo, Call Of Duty, Doom, Final Fantasy or Battlefield (Or Halo and Gears Of War for that matter). I do own a Battlefield and FF game, but haven't started them yet.

Well, to make the analogy correct, it would have to be more along the lines of being a drug addict and never having tried, or even heard of, crack.
