Yeah, this time around, both consoles are built on pretty standard PC architecture. All versions should run equally well (in terms of bugs).

For what it's worth, it appeared that all the footage they showed last night was on Xbox One, as I saw A, B, X, Y, a lot. Could be PC with an XO controller attached, though.

Pipboy Edition still not available for pre-order on amazon.ca. :(

Best Buy & Amazon have been going in and out of stock on the PS4 version this morning. Right now it's back up on both.

I hope it was on the Xbox One and not a PC, because the texture quality was pretty low resolution. Very muddy looking. Not that I care too much, because new Fallout!

Went into GameStop and they still didn't have the pre-order up. They put me on a list for the reserve. So I pre-ordered the pre-order :lol:

Doesn't look like anyone has mentioned it yet, but apparently X1 owners get a bonus for purchasing Fallout 4: you get a free copy of Fallout 3 for X1 and the X1 edition will support PC mods.

What's unclear is if it's an Xbox One-native version of Fallout 3 or if this is taking advantage of the console's newfound backwards compatibility. Either way, that's pretty phenomenal, though!

on-topic: Pip-boy edition is now sold out at amazon.CA. Glad I got in on that.

If any Canadians just want the disc (in standard packaging or a sleeve if you really don't care), I'd be willing to sell it and ship it as soon as i get it, as I want to buy the actual GAME digitally (I'm just going to keep all the special edition "stuff"). A long shot, I guess, but I figured I'd throw it out there. PM me and we can work out the details in November.

That's impressive. All I hear about in Fallout discussions is how amazing the mods are. I'm not going to do PC gaming, so this is a cool addition.

Too bad I'll be PS4, so I guess I'll miss out again.

They said they're going to try and do the same for PS4 too, just doesn't seem confirmed yet.

Is Fallout 4 capped at 30 fps on PC? It sounds like it the way this article is written, but maybe the article is just badly written. I can't imagine Bethesda would be dumb enough to cap the fps on PC.

Forbes contributors are about one step below "paid" tech bloggers...
Not that the guy is wrong (he isn't) but his post offers no validity, or lack thereof, to what Bethesda is or or isn't doing. Real journalists have sources. ;)

Speaking of 30 fps cap on PC, I hear that Arkham Knight just shipped with such a cap. So I guess developers really still are that stupid.

The PC cap on Batman is easily edited via an ini file. But yeah, it's dumb.
