Fallout 4

Re: Fallout 4
The game could have xbox 360-quality graphics and I'd still play the shit out of hit.
Shiny is nice, but fancy graphics are low on my list of wants and needs.

Fallout 3 looked pretty bad for it's time, in my opinion. I think this one looks ok; it doesn't look particularly bad to me, and certainly much better then a last gen game, but nothing amazing either. But as said already, it doesn't really matter.

Re: Fallout 4
I don't meet the minimum specs for the CPU to play this game on my PC. I have a core-i5 2.67. would i still be able to get by just buying a new video card?

Still no in store pickup option. Fuck it, I guess I'll have it delivered then. I guess it's better to get it a little later then have it sold out waiting around.
EDIT: It's weird how they split it up on the order page. $45.85 for the game and $24 for the season pass. But the season pass is already included in the box according to the item description. Any brave soul going to try to cancel the season pass and see if they only get changed for the game?

Yes. Go to your library tab and check. There will be a countdown clock and an indicator if it's downloaded or not yet. Even if it's not yet, it will by the time the timer counts all the way down (assuming you've got the settings to allow for background downloads and you put the PS4 to sleep in rest mode rather than full power off)

If you pre-ordered digitally on Xbox One, you may need to re-download.http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/154...e-please-read/
We know you’re ready for Fallout 4 on November 10th, and for those that digitally pre-ordered on Xbox One, we want to make sure you’re ready to jump in right away. If you’ve digitally pre-ordered the game on Xbox One on or before 10/27 and are NOT using Instant On power mode, you may still have an incorrect “stub file” for the title, which is simply a placeholder file. Players that have this particular version of the stub file will be required to delete it, and reinstall the title.
If you’ve pre-ordered on or after 10/27, you should be ready to download the necessary updates as they become available. Once these updates have been installed, you’ll then be able to play Fallout 4.
To do so, follow the process below:
Navigate to My Games & Apps.
Find the title's tile in Games.
With the tile highlighted, press the [Menu] button on your controller.
Select Manage Game.
In the Manage Game screen, select the storage device the game is currently installed to.
Select Uninstall.
Once the game has uninstalled, return to My Games & Apps.
Scroll right to the "Ready to Install" section under Games.
Highlight the title's tile.
Press [A] to select.
Choose Install.

Re: Fallout 4
I thought that small file the downloaded when I first preordered was a game hub update or something. I deleted it and went about the other steps and it seems to be downloading the real data now.

I don't have a Best Buy Gamer's card. What's the best pre-order deal right now? I have the Pipboy coming, but I'm probably going to cancel or sell it. I'm looking for XB1.

Game just started preloading in PC. It was already preloading in X1 as mentioned before.
Thinking about getting the PC version... I already have the X1 version of course.

Really? I think you need glasses! Don't get me wrong, the game-world looks great and a lot of fun, but just those screen shots, on a technical level, the textures, and the character models, especially their faces, look like dog shit.
