Easily the hardest one. I didn't take quite that long, but I was definitely there for a while. If I remember right, the scene was kind of symmetrical, and it took me a while to get my directions right.

Isn't that "Hidden Camera" you're talking about in the same district when investigating the Neon Crime scene? Under the overpass but there is a tent city closer to the water I think. If so, yea you cannot actual see it so the red reticule "always" will give it away.

I got way more tired of Ryse in a much shorter play-through time. In inFamous, you might be doing the same sorts of missions over and over, but at least with new powers, you can try things in different ways and try different tactics. In something like Ryse, it's all hack, slash, block, counter, finish. Over and over again. Here I'm still getting surprises. One of the coolest : I charged up the Ultra Neon power and went to disrupt a DUP control center in a parking garage. I entered in the bottom level, went to the middle and under a hail of bullets, unleashed the power. Enemies three levels up were instantly incapacitated. I thought that was awesome

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Finally got a chance to start this. I'm having a blast and the game is gorgeous. Put in 3-4 hours just having fun in the first area. Only got it down to 40% cleared. Gotta find the hidden camera and secret agent stuff.

Put some orbs in this and it's the game Crackdown 2 should have been.

However, if we weren't doing all of those things we find repetitive then the game would be about 3 hours long.

I've been avoiding this thread until I can start the game, hopefully by next week. Is the general consensuses if you are playing the game twice to start on normal for the good playthrough and hard for the evil playthrough?

I don't think it matters, but if you only plan to 100% one of your playthroughs, I would (and am) doing it on Hard. My 2nd playthrough will be fast and only to see the different story and get the other trophies/powers, so I won't be collecting everything. So, the playthrough that I collect everything is the one I want to play on Hard, since it will be easier having collected everything.

I'm about 30% through on Good/Hard, and so far, it isn't very challenging.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

I tried to play a little on the Vita via remote play last night while my wife watched a TV program about marital strife amongst middle-aged midgets. It's actually playable, but the frame rate drops significantly making it much more choppy and the minimap is pretty much useless. But I was impressed that it's actually still functional and I was successfully able to get some DUPs cleared using the Vita.

lol! I was thinking about remote playing this but it is just too good looking of a game to be relegated to the small screen.

I like the game, too, but I can see why people might be getting bored with it too fast. I try and play it maybe an hour or two a day if I can.

I don't see myself going through it again for a good playthrough. I should have played evil on hard but I forgot to change the difficulty. I'm not one to replay a game unless it's an RPG or something like Deus Ex or Bioshock.

My rating is 8/10. I just can't wait for The Show on PS4.

That is my plan. I'm doing the "Good Side" now on medium and will do Evil on hard. On good you have to be more careful especially blowing up stuff when civilians are around. They die you lose Karma. Subdue is the name of the game in getting it all back. I've got four sectors left and I like the fact you can swap powers pretty fast which comes in handy for me.

I'm getting a kick out of some of the comments from the civilians....
"Seeing anyone.."
"You're welcomed at my house anytime"
"You're better looking in person"
and my favorite...'I've got D on my ass" or something along that line...

Oh...those who finished did you go back "after" or during to do the bonus mission? And is it part of the "Good or Evil" storyline?

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Anyone having issues with a hard drive corruption error after installing the first patch?

The game works fine if don't sign into PSN to negate the update, but once its updated by logging in then this error comes up.

A google search brings up a few threads about it, but surprised no one here has brought this up.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Sorry...I'm not having any issues with the HD & infamous.

On a side note I did do the two missions of the Bonus Content...Paper Trial. Pretty interesting on getting information and leads. My question though is if you decide to start another game doing either "Evil or Good" do you lose what you've done or keep it? From what I saw there are five installments; once each week. I've got one last sector and one final mission in another to do before starting another game.

Just don't overwrite your save...

That is what I am doing since I wanted to start Evil expert without 100% the good game.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

How many saves are you allowed or do you know? I've got five now...the earliest one being at the 49% mark but I just started the Paper Trail (at the 75% mark).

So I can start a new game and I'll still have access to my current game? If so I didn't know that. Seems with any (most of) game starting a new game means wiping out what you've done.

Seriously fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck He Who Dwells. I've been working on the final stage for over an hour and get close, but he always knocks me back into the lava and then barrages me with missiles before I can get back out. I'm SO frustrated.
