The store exclusive characters only last for about a month before they're mass released. The crystal figures are the only truly exclusive figures so far. Also the CE jack skellington but that's not really an exclusive figure since it's just in a special case.

they were timed exclusives.

Woody and Jack are hard to find? I've seen them at BB, Target & Gamestop all this week.

Anyway, I used my $10 voucher from the Wal-Mart snafu last week to order Rapunzel. Used some RZ Certs to order Ralph at BB.

Best Buy will be getting Ralph from Wreck it Ralph on the 22 of this month

If I understand how this works, if you just buy the starter set and a 'Mater figure, you won't be able to actually play using 'Mater unless you also buy the Cars Playset?

correct, you need the playset for each character world to play in that playset. now, you can actually use mater in the sandbox mode of the game, just not in the specific game portion w/o the playset.

You can use Mater in the toybox I believe.

i called it sandbox, but meant toybox like superdeluxe pointed out.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

You can play with Mater but only in the Toybox which is a create a level mode. The Toybox also allows for downloading levels from disneys servers. All those levels can be used with all characters. Buying the Cars playset gets you the cars levels along with the 2 cars in the same package. Only the Cars characters can play in the Cars playset. Just Like only Pirates in the Pirates Playset etc...

They need to stop releasing figures without a playset...

Yep! They better at least have plans for their playsets in future Infinity releases or already in the main game. That would even better. Stop with these forced starter packs and new portals for each new release. Just build the next game around already released figures as well as new ones in the pipeline.

That is the one thing that does bother me about it. Essentially you are paying 14.99 for a action figure that you can tool around in the Toybox. That is sort of lame.

We need Wreck it Ralph and Frozen playsets.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

They could always make the next Starter pack with another Wreck-It-Ralph based figure, Frozen figure and Sally from ANBC and have those three be the main playsets for the second release and be able to use already released and most likely purchased Jack, Ralph, Venelope and Frozen ladies. This would be the ideal scenario for us.

Yeah, I would love a Wreck It Ralph playset. We need a Nightmare Before Christmas one too.

These are what I am hoping to be included as the playsets for the next release. I heard something about a 5 year plan and that scares my wallet a little.

Nitemare set/Wreck it Ralph set/Frozen/Tangled set/Maybe a Classics Set.

You can have so many different worlds. Its kind of amazing if you think about it.

Maybe a star wars set to coincide with Episode VII

Are any of the TRU crystal releases rare? I just happened to be in there with my daughter looking for something else while they opened a shipment. They had a crystal buzz/lightning pack that I haven't seen before.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

I don't know about rare, but they are exclusive to TRU.

I think one of the discs included in that package is also exclusive, but unsure on that.

Re: Disney Infinity - Disney's Infinite Moneymaker

Thanks. I talked my daughter out of the lightning/buzz pack. If she breaks me down I wanted to make sure that wasn't going to be difficult to find again.

FYI this doesn't start until Friday. They are also matching swapforce.

It's also not technically a price match from what I've heard. You pay WM's full price and get the difference in a gift card.

Thats for the price matches (Where walmart will pricematch anything over the next 6 weeks)

If you look at the ad, it just says 37.99$.
