That's hilarious if true. I've always wondered why companies don't do stuff like that more often in order to try and cut down on piracy. |
Re: Watch Dogs
And it would be a way to make some money back. Someone was bitching that it's Illegal to do that. Now they know how it feels

Re: Watch Dogs
It seems that GameFly cancelled my preorder I had with them and never bothered to inform me in any way. Dickheads.

My guess is that the reviews will be between 7-8. I sure hope it is higher so we shall see. I'm getting my copy no matter what the reviews say.

That's just an actual map of Chicago... unless you posted that for comparison's sake? Still trying to decide if I should get this or The Show. I'm thinking I should wait a year on MLB since first versions aren't usually as good as they could be. This game looks cool, and I'm from Chicago (not enough Chitown based games out there) EDIT: I went ahead and pre-ordered this since I had a Best Buy GC, RZ cert, and they give $10 in rewards for pre-ordering. If it ends up being crap I can throw it up on ebay. |

from all accounts the game is destined to be a victim of its own hype main complaints will be that the graphics are not what was "promised" on consoles ... what I've seen in just streaming looks good, not inFAMOUS good in most places but better in others driving mechanics by all accounts are way loose and horrible to control other than the motorcycle .... also jives with what I have seen but I am not buying this game for its driving sim abilities other than that it is going to come down to the gameplay and how engaging the story and variety of things you can do are as for the easy to make comparisons to Rockstar's IPs ... other than the initial newness of GTA III I have never cared to go deep into any of the GTA games or RDR ... To me they are boring slogs with uninteresting stereotypical characters I'm going to give Watch Dogs a shot (trading in inFAMOUS) but I am keeping my expectations in check I wish I could say I thought this would be the first 10/10 type next gen game but I know that will not be the case and that we probably won't see something like that until ND releases the next in the Uncharted series |
Re: Watch Dogs
here's a more positive review from someone on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/PS4/comments...w_no_spoilers/

I've been really looking forward to this title, but haven't made the leap to the new consoles. I felt really burned by Wolfenstein on PS3. The graphics were awful PS2 quality. Thief looked and played great though. |
Re: Watch Dogs
I'm tired of hearing about the graphics as the chief complaint. I want to play the game for the gameplay not the eye candy (or lack thereof).

Re: Watch Dogs
Well I never paid attention to the graphics, or the early previews, so it doesn't bother me. I'll enjoy the game, mediocre review or great review. If someone claims it can be finished in 15 hours or 70 hours, I'll have fun.

Re: Watch Dogs
Is anyone going to get this at midnight? I'm thinking about it.

Re: Watch Dogs
I'm watching a stream of a pretty hot German girl playing it and it and honestly it reminds me of the first couple of True Crime games.

Re: Watch Dogs
Time to wait for the typical Ubisoft price drop.
|
Re: Watch Dogs
I'm still shocked there has yet to be a price drop on AC4 for next gen. It has to be any day now!
|
Re: Watch Dogs
There have been plenty of sales on it.

I'll happily take the $25 off the 12 month Plus sub with purchase at full price |

They have to scan a barcode from the app itself, so you would need to bring whatever device with the app.
I found this solution after finding out the cartwheel app requires iOS 7. Just go to http://cartwheel.target.com/ |

I thought that too, but there's another way. You can access Cartwheel through a web browser, and print the barcode from a PC.
