Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
My plans to play "disconnect the router" weren't necessary. After I unplugged my Wifi Router, my first spin was ClausCo. Lol. I reconnected and spun-down my inventory, since there's nothing on my wheel except the Snow God, and I can live without that.
So I'm pretty much done with Xmas now. I burn my spins as I earn them, and I'll continue to visit all of my neighbors towns daily, but instead of going for either 30 GCs or 20 GCs + 1 tile tap, I'll go to your Squidport first and if you've got a tappable tile I'll tap, exit, enter, tap, exit, enter, tap to give you three tiles and me 1500 XP (or so)

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Well, here's that I'm doing:
1 - Connected to the Interwebs via WiFi through my home router.
2 - Clearing out all of the floating thumbs and dollar signs (except one or two on the Squidport entrance - still collecting tiles!) and sending all of my characters off on tasks.
3 - Visit a friend, then come back to force the game to refresh.
4 - Set the game down, walk over to the router, pulling the RJ-45 line that brings the Interdoodles in.
5 - Walk back to my game... see, it's still connected! (Thing is, it's only connected to the router, the router is experiencing a connection issue!)
6 - Spin to win!
7a - If I get something I like, set the game down, jack the RJ-45 back into the router, pick up the game, visit a friend, come back, watch it synch.
7b - If I don't get anything I like, exit the game, delete it (yes, I want to delete all my game data too), then reboot the device. Jack the router back in, wait for device, go to app store, download the game again, install all of the updates, synch the game with EA's servers... and hey, I'm back at Step 1 again!
Are you doing it similarly enough?

I banked up 11 tokens and tried the wheel again for the first time in a few days. Finally got Claus Co! Which I'm sure I'll promptly put in inventory when the event ends.
Now I just need the snow god.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I have spun this wheel over a hundred times recently and still not won the Claus Co. or Snow God items. I'm glad I racked up 10k donuts from glitches back in the day, EA can go f themselves.

maybe because you got all those "illegal" donuts from glitches, you aren't getting all the good prizes.

How many GC do you have? I didn't win any of these either until after I hit 70 thousand.

I know a guy who got Claus Co. on the very first spin, made it doubly infuriating until I finally got it.

I would need to stay alone at home to do that. Most of the time, my daughters and wife are using the internet. They would kill me if I disconnect the router.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I still need the snowman and Claus Co (apart from a few xmas decorations). I also have a tile to be clicked if anyone is up for it.
