If anyone has the "confirm" for doughnuts set, check it as apparently the last update randomly turned it off. I wasted doughnuts this morning speeding up the Tooth Chipper while collecting tickets.

I think the update is for android only. And yeah, it's because of all the crashes we were having. I play in both my iPhone and Nexus 7, and it wasn't a crashing fest, but compared to my iPhone the crashes were annoying.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
You know what I haven't posted about here in a long time?
I am having so much fun playing this game!
I love every quest. Even if they're long or demand characters be in multiple places at once or cost me time or money or whatever. I just plain love 'em. They're funny and every once in a while offer a little surprise, too, which usually strikes me as funny, too. I remember a few weeks ago when I first made Rex Banner interrogate Ned Flanders and laughed my butt off. I was reminded of the fun tonight when I put Comic Book Guy in Scratchy's Flea Dipper for the first time and watched it spin. OMG, that is so funny!
Donut issues, time issues, crash issues, and so on.
But man, I'm having fun.
How about you?

I am having fun with it. I would have gladly paid for it. Unfortunately, behind the fun is EA acting like an aggressive panhandler. They won't see a penny from me.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Agree with story, this has been the most fun I've had with The Simpsons in a long time. The writing is just great.
The only thing that could make it better is they had more voice work included, I know it's expensive so no high hopes there.

This game is a blast every time I play it no matter what I'm doing.
I haven't watched the show since the early seasons and I'm seriously debating going back through the whole thing just because of the game.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Poor story trying to restore some perspective to this thread.
I'm still really enjoying the game. As I said earlier, this is the only game I've stuck with for this long, and I continue to look forward to new additions. The Rex-Ned interrogation is still something I will watch happen after I trigger it because it's so amusing. As I've also said before, I don't watch The Simpsons. This game has me tempted to watch some episodes, though, and this is the month for the animation challenge...
I just started Springfield Confidential pt 3 and it involves three characters and not all are on the same-length tasks. The first character, the trigger, takes eight hours. The second character takes eight hours, but by luck I already had him on that task so he'll be done in 45 minutes. The third character takes 12 hours, and he's on a different task that will be done in 45 minutes. Considering I had all the characters ending close to the same time, I couldn't have set that up much worse.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I'll return to this thread in a few days when I've earned enough tickets to start my next attraction.
I admit I spent some tickets to buy a second popcorn stand, hot dog stand, Krusty Burger, and fried dough stand and managed to bump my Grub rating from three to four. My Nausea is at five, but my other two ratings are still three as is my overall rating. I'll try to give those a boost after my next buy (which I think will also need a corresponding acquisition of real estate).

I was finally able to save over 200K for the Swat van. Never been able to do that before. guess it gets easier to do once you have most everything.

I got my Krust-O-Meter to FOUR stars today, have Lenny and Carl on the viking ship, and still have 14,000 tickets leftover. Woo-hoo!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
My KOM is at 3. That's hard to me, since I'm used to having 5 stars in Springfield. But after I checked a guide I found it's really hard, more expensive, to raise your rating in KL.

My KOM is still 1
Nausea is 3, grub is 2, kitsch is 0 and merch is 2. I only bought a few fence pieces to make a little lawn area. I'm trying to get to 12000 ticktes to build the Flea Dipper..I'm at 11,500 now... Then I will have to build up more to get the next ride, when I can. I also probably need to buy more land to expand better and not have everything crushed together.

For Krustyland tickets, I went ahead and spent two days only earning tickets, not spending them. That gave me a little bank so I won't feel like I have to wait as long when the building is needed. I also get as many tickets as possible during the build times and task times with hour tasks for everyone else, if I'm free to commit to that schedule.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
All my characters were free and I was getting no new dialogues, so I guess my Springfield quest is over.
KOM is difficult. Since there are no multiplying decorations in KL, I'd like to raise my KOM for multiplication, but as mentioned, it seems hard to do without buying premium decorations. The ratings bump up only grudgingly, and there's no half-star increments like in Springfield. My Nausea is at 5 by having every attraction except the last one, plus the premium Eyeballs of Death. My Grub is at 4 by getting every food stand plus four duplicates. My Kitsch and Merch are at 3 each, and once I buy my last attraction, I'll try to build one of those up. My overall rating is still at 3. During my last splurge, I decided to get food and only food in order to bump up at least one of the ratings. Now I'm hoping that by buying enough to bump one of the others to 4, maybe I'll get to 4 overall.
Spoiler:
My KOM is still 1
