The Simpsons: Tapped Out

With so many Homer quests it's hard to figure out what to do first. I've been going with what fits my schedule but now that I've noticed the freak show village is a limited time building I'm going to prioritize the Strong Man Homer quests. We have plenty of time, but just to be sure...

Looks like they fixed being able to tap multiple extra ghosts in friends towns. Oh we'll, I'm already at 9800 goo so I'm pretty sure I'll finish.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I'm about to hit 10,000 so I'm not squishing any gremlins. Anyone that needs to build up some goo can drop them on me if there's room and get the full 4 from each. I'll be dropping them in the friends with the lower numbers trying to help them move up.
I just earned the freak show tent this morning, it's part of the main Ghost in the Machine quest, not the strongman homer as I've seen people talking about that in connection with it.

Didn't know that, thanks, Keith.
As for the extra goo gone from friends' towns, that's a bummer. I was getting at least one, two, sometimes three extra goos that way. I wonder if they were surprised by how quickly we got to 5,000,000,000 goo and figured part of this out.

And wow.. the quests for Homer keep coming.. He's popular with many quest lines at the same time. It wouldn't be so bad if they were 1-4 hour tasks. but they all seem to be 12-24 hour tasks. I'll just have to keep powering through them.

There's a strongman task for Homer that I keep missing because Mr. Burns has to be available at the same time and I keep forgetting to sync those two.

This whole Homer-centric month has got to be on-purpose, a way to keep us playing, especially since some of it is limited-time. Well played, EA, well played.

Happy to have found my third donut in a ghost! Obviously that's a really small percentage, but it's better than no donuts.
I expect that they misjudged how soon we'd be finishing these. I've been slacking off on the visits the last couple days but am still over 7K.
I've lost that quest from my taskbar but I think I just need Homer free. Easier said than done.
I did manage to clear that one out, thankfully.
I'm planning to pick off two four-hour ones for him today and hope that they'll trigger some quests for other characters so I can make some real progress.

Whoah. I just cleaned up all of Springfield. Took way less time than I thought, especially since I was doing other things and just reassigning Homer and Lisa in the background.

So I realized that on the buildings that switch decorations, you can press the little minus icon so you don't keep accidentally swapping the decorations, which can be a pain in the ass.

Are the strongman quests limited time? I'm trying to get through the Halloween ones, so I'm pushing the rest of the quests off for now. If you all need a place to dump your gremlins, my town is usually pretty lonely.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
We'll, I just sent Homer on his final Strongman quest. Once that is complete, I'm done with all Halloween tasks already. It sucks that by playing daily, you finish the entire event three weeks early They need to make these events way shorter or more difficult to do. Halloween should have only been one week during actual Halloween, not an entire month.

Well, not everybody can play daily, so they need to allot enough time so that most regular players can enjoy the events.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Yeah, but most regular players should be able to finish in two weeks or so. It's just too easy to get GOO.
And people finishing earlier also helps. In my case I'm allowing all the gremlins to roam free, so my friends can get 4 GOO.
