That's 15.7 million seconds, or just under 6 months
There are 15 days left in the event..... EA vastly underestimated our willingness/ability to buy balls.

Good news, everyone--we're now up to 1.3 million balls! Only 109 million to go! :banana:

Right now, my primary four players are at 4.5 stars each, so once I max them out I might buy more balls. That's a lot of effort just for a chance to get 10 donuts, though.

I wouldn't personally buy any more balls. The counter seems pretty regular and goes up in regular 4 or 5 ball intervals. I doubt it is actually counting the number of balls the community is purchasing. I would assume that EA will come in and tweak the updates like they supposedly did last time to ensure the community gets some/all of the prizes.

Good news, everyone! We're now up to 1.8 million balls, which means we're... still 109 million away. rotfl So for the last two days (which should've been about peak time as people were chasing the questline), we've been moving about half a million per day, which is still around the six months that kenbuzzz estimated. :lol:

I agree that EA could be "reporting" whatever numbers they want and we'd never know the difference. Since they're so far off-goal, I'd guess that they ARE accurate for now. Whether the numbers pick up (real or not), we'll see.

Now that I am close to finishing act 2, I sort of wish that I didn't upgrade as many players as I did. I could have just saved the AB's for crafting the few items that I want and save the rest for soccer balls.

I logged in yesterday and collected by 10 Community Donuts. And, for some reason, I got them again today just an hour ago. Cha-ching! I've also unlocked all 5 of the Act 2 prizes, and in less than 36 hours I'm only a few hundred caps away from my SECOND Donut Bonus. Getting 3000 caps for a shot at 1-3 Donuts is easy when each fan coughs up 20 on top of the daily first win bonus and the 200-300 I'm getting from my 2 Tap Ball games every 4 hours or so.

you aren't missing much ... "events" that are just about impossible to complete unless you buy clams. They have quests where you need items to complete - labeled common, rare, and "not a fucking chance" ... they just ended one this afternoon and are already starting another. at least The Simpsons makes it so you can complete events with regular gameplay. I feel like this is just a cash grab

Read their facebook page ... they have taken the whole freemium idea to an absurd level
