Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
It's been officially been named a frame rate issue, so the more animations on screen -- characters on outdoor tasks, clearing multiple handshakes or $$$ at one time -- the bigger the lag and the occasional crash.
Unless you're really grinding for $$$, it's likely best to keep characters on indoor tasks and avoid ones like Arnie Pye's helicopter tasks. Unfortunately visiting some neighbors will continue to be a problem, as the game's default is to dump all characters out on screen when visiting. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Anyone having issues with my town causing lags/crashes? I decided to mostly do outdoor tasks for the sake of having interesting things happen, but I can switch it up.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The suggestion to put characters on indoor tasks should only to make things easier for you. As mentioned, visitors get all characters pushed outside.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Has anyone ever had a character disappear on them? I can't find Smithers anywhere.

Yeah, it happens now and then to me. If you put his building in storage (is he attached to Burns Mansion?), and then bring it back, he should reappear.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Update Today:
Level 41: Vulgari Aspirations Nine-part quest line (Moe triggers), features:
Should be pushed out, no app store update needed. Hopefully it also cleans up some the lag/log-in problems folks have been having.

|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Nice, haven't finished the Milhouse gym stuff yet nor the friendship level 8.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
This is a really short level. I hope that means there is going to be a major update next week. Hopefully a big Krustyland update.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Chester Dupree? He's No. 3 in the list of Hibbert siblings I would want behind Bleeding Gums and adoption agency guy.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
The 4.8.3 update seems to have vastly improved the lagging issue on my Android tablet. Haven't seen anything about a similar update for iOS.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Finally got a good prize from the Mystery Box you get once a week. I got 30 doughnuts.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I'm not seeing any improvement on the lag front. This blows.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I haven't been able to log into this in weeks now.
I'm using a samsung galaxy tab. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I'm getting the same lag on ios but at least it's playable for me.
I forgot to check my town status when the level-up happened -ohbfrank- but I just needed one Kwik-E-Mart to get back up to five stars. Krustyland was still fine. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
4.8.3 was released in the iOS store today.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Been a while since I've played two levels at once. Weird but let's go for it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
They're pushing out an in-game notice: 20 free donuts for the post-Easter frame rate issue, and -- if you haven't already completed it -- they reset the Fit Milhouse quest line from the The Yellow Badge... tie-in.
It now ends in small hours of May 27. |
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
That Bloodmobile gives you a TON of XP points. I have leveled up like 5 or 6 times in the last two days.
|
Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I got the squeaky voiced teen in my mystery box couple days ago, felt like I won the lottery. So glad that Easter event was over. I'm not participating in any more garbage wheel events.

The forums said that's better than the weather stations. We are talking of course of old timers, who have millions of cash in reserves, at least 10 million. Bought 78 bloodmobiles and got 12 free donuts. That was almost 9 million in cost. Still have $10million left. Those vehicles gives a lot of XP. Will probably buy every 5 million collected so I can score more donuts later. |
So even though the blood mobile says it just improves vanity it gives extra bonuses?
I have about 2.5mil after buying the jewelry store. I haven't really set up much farming area for houses or whatever to get money so I don't have tens of million dollars to buy 72 blood mobiles. Also I'm curious how buying those got that person 12 doughnuts. |

I have over 50 million, so with any luck I can level up at least once per day. |
